I bought the other front wheel that chap was selling.. good prices they were. If you were to remove the original black paint how would you go about it ?.. paint stripper, sand paper?.. what's the best approach?.. vauxhall star silver is a good paint match to silver. You can buy that red tape for the mudguards as the space blue and silver I believe are the only 2 colours that had them. Good progress and a good haul of good parts you've salvaged. Nice work
Hi Mike the star silver 🥈 colour is for the Grifter mk2 as I used it on mine, seems like a long time ago now, I've forgotten what all my bikes look like can't wait for all bikes out, I will just lightly sand the black frame and possibly by the next video it will be in primer, I am using a vw silver 🥈 on it as I've been told its the closest you can get to original, cheers 🥂

Will order the paint and decals soon just want it to warm up a bit for spraying lol 😂. Nice find on the nos cables mate 😁👌 the uv is getting there slowly thanks mate all new bearings in and lots of my chromework is cleaning up nice so hopefully it will look good against that aged frame. Not everyones cup of tea but something different i guess. Im hoping to pick a new project up tomorrow. Can you guess what colour it is?? 🤣

@@dealermike1331 Hi Mike no didn't film 📼 anything but it's all rubbed down and masked up ready for primer, the chainguard is in primer and looks good, it's a case of waiting for paint and decals cheers 🥂
@@dealermike1331 if you go in b&m go to the tool section you will find a square yellow packet with Stanley on it and that contains all the different grades of paper you need mate check it out cheers 🥂
