Coming from someone who lives in the Northern Europe, where we get winters with snow, ice, slush and mud... None of your "best" wheelchairs would work for me, living independently, going to work, having outdoor lifestyle. - all of the shots are from very smooth, clean surfaces with minimal camber. Do you think people who use wheelchairs never go out on poor weather or outside the perfect pawing or wouldn't want to enjoy outdoor life in the nature? - Ridiculously small tires on some of your "best" models. - Ridiculously slow speed, 5 mph, really? - Would you sit on any of those seats for several hours per day? - Your "second best" chair looks like straight from the 80s or from a waiting room of a hospital with it's design. You can't say this is the best you got. - No functions such as tilting the seat, elevating the seat..? - And so on and so on. I must say I've never been happier to have the tax funded public healthcare, because otherwise I may would have to rely on chairs like these and lead a passive life at home. Your chairs may be the best... to those who have to buy it with their own money. Or maybe you still have the ridiculous prices, if people don't know any better?
I am disappointed that you have not included any of the latest technologies in Stairclimbing and/or all terrain stairclimbing wheel chairs, which is a total game changer in terms of mobility. it is also an added safety for those living in elevated buildings who may have to be evacuated in case of fire - which recently happened in my case. I found that I could not exit because the mobility unit I have does not do stairs. It appears that either American manufacturers are on the late show, or they are trying to dump their obsolete mechanisms on us before they bring these much more modern devices on the market: Skewo Bro, Observer Peer, Scalvo and others have been out here now since 2014, but for some reason we don's see them in the durable medical equipment line up. BTW when are they going to invent scooters that allow you to stretch your legs so that you're not folded up? IJS - please update your information and analyses - we're not trying to be tethered to super overweight, unwieldy obsolete mobility units. Thanks for your attention, consideration and response - GDWilson
I TOTALLY agree with you!!! I spend most of my time outdoors in the spring and summer. During this time, family members and strangers have to get my wheelchair and me ‘unstuck’ from grass, gravel, sand, dirt and pretty much anything other than pavement!!! I need an all-terrain wheelchair that goes 20+ miles on a charge.
@@tondawyant2911did you ever find one? Best i found is a lightweight carbon fiber mobility chair the Matrix CF. 38 lbs with battery, 34 without. Comes with 2 batteries allowing up to 24 mile range.
Great comments. Would also suggest getting rid of the “us v. them” comments- sooner rather than later, you will be “us”! Also, need for a power chair happens at any time. Very few of these chairs are covered by US insurances, so the purchase is out of pocket. 13:39
The Golden Envy is definatly a power chair, though I am looking for a different chair for myself. I do love it, but it has some real issures. puddles and water must be avoided as nothing is well covered. At first I didnt think this would matter... but it has come up several times, especially when it rains while youre in a store or something. I cant take it on a plane as the battery is too large, but I have personally used mine for days on end without charging. Its not my all the time however, Its my actual travel chair. I has nothing in the way of shock absorbtion and while I love my freedom, thats the reason Im looking for a new chair.
If you rate those the top 10 you need to get out more. Weather proof Ranger had some features I liked for air travel but none of them you showed are anything a handicap person could sit on and use all day. Most are designed for walkers that want something for distances. I take mine across the yard and on the beach with a Roho seat, it’s 7 years old with original batteries none of these would last half that. Sick of these hurry up and die chairs, make some live your life normally chairs.
Are you taking about out in the country or in the city like the concrete jungle ya right I would love to see these chairs you are showing yes try to get your chairs on to a NYC SUBWAY CAR AT MULTIPLE STATIONS GOOD RUCK😅😅😅😂
These tests are rubbish. The normal pavement surface is full of irregularities. Pavement surfaces have usually repairs and cambers, drain covers and many other reasons why it is difficult to manoeuvre the wheel chair. These videos only show the wheel chair on showroom smooth outdoor surfaces with no cambers which gives a totally misleading impression.
Totally agree, i dont want to know what snazzy wheelchair can do, or its specialist features. I want to know how it handles slanted curbs, and uneven survices. As so many that look good, epecially the light weight ones are so dangerous to use outside, period!
Half of these are just the same chair re branded, and their nearly all shitty. Definitely did NOT review these like your channel claims. Maybe stop assuming you know what differently abled people want or need.
As a Wheel chair user 9 of these wouldn't even make my top 100 let alone my top 10, the only Chair in this video in MY TOP 10 is the Jazzy Air 2. Next time maybe you should do some actual research on Electric Wheelchairs and ask users before calling your video of cheap crap chairs "Top 10 Best Electric Wheelchair You Can Buy" the actual title should be "9 Cheap and crap wheelchairs and 1 top 10" The No 1 Electric Wheelchair is the "OMEO"
Thanks but your wheel chairs have no provisions of an umbrella what if it rains or this scotching sun shine. Remember some disabled persons need a protective wheel chair not those free upper open. That looks so risky. How can i see whats coming from behind. I have seen physically fit people tryiny out in the wheel chair. The challenge they face is not the some with the disabled.
Need an additional mode for electronics hackers and supporters of saboteurs - follow the maid. Walk-stop-turn. And turn signals like a motorcycle with hazard lights and headlights and their passive-aggressive favourite - High-intensity-discharge high-beam.

nonsence and most of the chairs he posted are way overpriced, you want real quality go with a quicky chair otherwise known as a q chair , ive had a golden that lasted about five years but again, quality comfort and speed, q chair
would be nice if you listed the prices..

The elderly don’t necessarily need a mobility device. People of every age beyond infancy may need one.
Yeah. It's ridiculous as a young person to always see only the elder people representing them, like no one else needed mobility aid.
I like the first model, because it folds up for easy storage. 😊
Glad you like
There are much better folding versions including one that closes automatically when you push the keyfob
