Same here dude
I agree. It's a lonely feeling, and I always had a fascination and interest with astronomy and the planets, and couldn't understand why this was forgotten by the masses of people...or how nobody cared.
I believe this is overlooked. I also believe astronomy is tied with the ancient world and astrotheology.
I believe I am getting more into this hobby, once again!
Yeah. Like, how could this not be interesting? Living your whole life not knowing anything about the outside universe and how it works? I mean, you don’t need this information to survive but how could you not want to learn this?
Me too !

CORONA....hmmmmm😭
6.8 Billion years?!? that's it?! well time to start packing soon....
hahaha
Especially in space time, that’s equivalent to like 2 months...
Although it gives me creeps, due to fact that we live, we die, and nothing will remember us, not every single one after that explosion happens.
We will drift away... into eternity.
I didn’t even read it but... how much time in your life that you have the finger strength to type all of that hollyshit
As much as I love learning about space it causes EXTREME panic attacks. When I think about everything that is out there and how it works we seem so small and pointless.
it doesn't make issues on your world pointless. Yes, they may seem small compared to the rest of the universe but that doesn't make it pointless. If it affects, you and your way of living then it matters even if in a universal scale it may seem small.
remember you yourself are just as much a part of the universe as the planets, stars, nebulae and even galaxies are you matter.
I actually feel comforted by it when I'm having anxiety issues. It's strange how people take it so differently.
I guess I just feel like, the size of the universe shows endless possibilities, and even so, we are related to all of those possibilities. Even aliens (if they exist) are made from the same universe we are. Everything is born from the same beginning. No matter how strange and complex things like us develop, it all boils down to the same basic minerals from the big bang.
We are all connected in that way. So, imo, saying we are pointless and small is calling the universe the same. We're a tiny piece of it, but we are the universe. When you think of it that way, you don't feel so alone.
Everything is born from the same head of a pin.
Objectively we are insignificant. You're not wrong.
@@CrabJock 🎯
We are insignificant in size but without us there would not be knowledge of all of this. Kinda weird….
This is a great introduction to our star for astronomy beginners. It is not too trivial but it also does not contain concepts that are too complex and impossible to learn for a novice.
I need to learn more. Like how the sun formed, what caused such enormous nebula to condense and form one sun that size. Why it didn’t form two suns?
1981-04-25 11:00
We are all novice. Only one expert, God Himself; Creator of heaven and earth.
