What purposes? Maybe saying that revenge is stupid? Even with it it's just so silly. Kite dies like 3 times in this arc, from the viewers perspective, and in the end it's like nothing happened. He dies first when he fights Pitou and then Togashi baits you saying: maybe he is alive look how much Gon believes in it. Then we are shown Pitou with Kite's head and it's: no he is very much dead. Then we have third time when Gon believes that he can be healed and learns that he is indeed completely dead. My first reaction was completely the same as the girls. Like I wasn't happy I already buried the man 3 times. More of a bewilderment and disappointment. Emotionally it's just not there. It also changes HxH back into the show where no one from main characters group could die. There are already so many miracles in this arc it just tops it in the end. It might not be as cheap as it looks like (and it looks that way) but it does erase consequences
@@neon825 I'm gonna post my write up on this, it's pretty long so up to you whether you read it or not. So let's think about why Kite was reincarnated. On a first glance, Gon's character arc in the Chimera Ant arc seems to be about facing the cruelty of the world and accepting loss for the first time in his life, then being consumed by revenge as a result of his inability to cope with losing someone he cared about, and certainly if you see it like that, Kite's rebirth seems to take away from that. However, I think there is more nuance to Gon's story and what Kite meant to him than that. The story starts with Gon being saved by Kite from a dangerous situation that Gon put himself into by being ignorant and helpless. In that moment, Gon deeply admired Kite and saw him as a sort of ideal, someone that he wished he could be like, which was further emphasized when he learned about how Ging abandoned him and trained Kite. And when he eventually found him, it made him like an older brother who was acknowledged by Ging compared to Gon who still had a long way to go, in Gon's eyes he was perfect, a man who could never lose and be seen as weak. When Pitou attacks them, Gon finds himself in the same situation as all those years ago, ignorant of the danger and helpless against it, while Kite has to take responsibility for that, he could never accept the idea that Kite himself made a mistake, since he saw him as the ideal he had to pursue he had to be perfect, otherwise the narrative Gon wrote for his own life up to this point would be shattered, so instead he clung onto the idea that Kite couldn't have lost. Then he sees what happened to Kite, but instead of accepting the reality that Kite is not perfect and could make mistakes and lose as well, he internalizes it and believes it was his responsibility for not being strong enough, that it's now his obligation to "restore" Kite through proving himself alone, it would be his atonement. But then he is forced to wait patiently and compromise with his sworn enemy only to be told at the end that there was nothing that could be done, that the narrative he wrote in his head was just a fantasy, he can no longer atone by restoring Kite. Gon finds himself in the same situation again, helpless and ignorant, but this time there is no Kite to save him, and in that despair Gon believed that the only way for him to atone was to give everything up and kill Pitou and die in the process, forcing himself to become the "ideal" version of himself, to become "Kite" himself, but it's all twisted and wrong. He claimed that he was happy because he was now like Kite back then, but his expression showed anything but happiness. So what does all of that have to do with why Kite was reborn? Well, I believe the point of the story wasn't about Gon trying to cope with losing someone he cared about (it's part of it to be sure), but rather about his inability and refusal to come to terms with the fact that his idealized version of Kite, that the narrative he wrote in his head, was not reality. That idea threatened his self-worth and view of life on such a deep level that accepting it would have broken him beyond recovery, it would have shattered everything he has believed and done up to that point. Gon was hurt not just by Kite's death as a person, but by his death as the ideal, and so when he was healed by Nanika and found out that Kite was reborn, he had no choice but to face the real Kite, something that must have been very difficult for him, and in a way a worse punishment than dying on his own terms, he had to go on living without the ideal he so desperately clung to and find his own meaning in life beyond just repeating the cycle over and over and then trying to atone in his own selfish way without consulting the person he wronged like the Koala. On top of that, from the start of the series we have seen how the one thing Gon hates more than anything, including losing, is to feel like he did not earn something that he wanted, like he did when Hisoka gave him the badge or when Hanzo forfeited against him, and in the same vein, Gon didn't just want Kite back, he wanted to "restore" him, he wanted to defeat Pitou (hence why the first thing he says is "Fight me... fight me so I can get Kite back"), in his mind Kite's restoration would be a result of him proving himself, the ultimate proof that he passed Ging's test. But despite everything Gon did, including throwing his life away, Kite's reincarnation had nothing to do with that, it was something that happened in spite of his will and actions. For him it was anything but a reward. In the same way Kite was reborn physically, Gon was reborn spiritually by letting go of the idealized Kite and accepting the real one and taking his desire into account for his atonement (and that is why his own version of atonement was rendered pointless, it had to be because it's the wrong way of going about it, and Gon had to learn that the hard way by seeing how he didn't need to do any of it), which Kite decided to be them becoming actual equal friends from then on and helping each other out when the need arises, and that they both need to grow some more. As a result of his actions and decisions, Gon lost his Nen, the mechanism that he used to pursue his ideal self, changed his friendship with Killua forever in a bittersweet way, and now has to rediscover himself and find out who he really wants to be without having to rely on Nen, Kite or Ging. I think that makes for enough consequences for a kid who is still trying to find his place in the world and went through so much as a result. Ultimately, I think the point of Gon's story is that we tend to narrativize our lives and cling so tightly onto those narratives and try to enforce them on reality, but reality does not care for how we perceive it, and if we are entirely dependent on those narratives we won't be able to cope when they inevitably shatter because we have no other pillar to fall back on, and Gon had to experience this directly in order to grow in a natural way without having to force himself to. In the first place, the idea that Kite sacrificed himself for Gon's sake was a misunderstanding on Gon's part and what contributed to the narrative he wrote in his head about how he has to atone for that, hence why Ging told him that he needs to understand what his actual mistake was and atone for it properly without running away. If Kite was not reborn the way he was, I think it would have been impossible for Gon to get that closure and move on the way he did, and HxH is at its core a coming of age and self-discovery journey, it was never going to be a depressing tale where Gon merely has to accept the cruelty of life.
Nah, it's a total cop out. And diminishes a lot of the actions of other characters. It'd Genkai all over again. Bringing people back from the dead completely diminishes everything leading up to their deaths. Togashi is a brilliant writer, but he made the same mistake twice in a row.

I what you mean about the peace in this ending. After all the horrors we saw, the violence, the inhumanity the almost genocide. The fact that people survived all that and don't want to keep on fighting, feels like a gift to be treasured
Pitou actually explained that the Kite we saw was just a hollow body, so im assuming his brain and organs were fed to the Queen and with the rest of kites body, pitou create a puppet. that would explain how kite cud be reborn as that child.
That's not the real reason, but I honestly prefer this explanation. Using a weapon to reincarnate sounds a bit too much in my humble opinion, and I don't think the restrictions were that severe/strong to grant such an insanely fantastic and surreal ability.
@libellum7085 it's something I'm a bit eh about in general tbh. The whole nen after death and resurrection stuff is continued in the manga and I'm a bit iffy with it ngl
Episode 92 is "the Kite episode". Kite is shown reborn, Kite's corpse is shown being puppeteered, one of Kite's friends tells us about how she owes Kite and how Kite doesn't know where he was born. Episode 92 is so good.
Some ppl might be confusing on why Killua wanted Gon to apologize during the hospital scene. Here’s the thing, Killua saw how much guilt Gon was carrying after seeing Kite’s damaged body back in ep 95. This made him want to help Gon fight Pitou, to reduce that burden Gon was carrying. However, when Gon said “this has nothing to do with you” to him, Killua felt like he was rejected from the mission to fight Pitou (as Gon wanted to go down in flames by himself in fighting Pitou). So the apology is basically Gon acknowledging that he shouldn’t have rejected Killua like that and made him concerned for his safety.
Just a couple of hours ago, the most epic and competitive poll ever on Patreon ended. For 4 days, the votes were almost exactly 50/50, sometimes just one or a couple of votes apart, sometimes the exact same amount even after 1600 votes. It was funny but also a traumatizing experience, and we almost ended all with PTSD, so I doubt something like that will ever happen again 😂 At the end the winner was Haikyuu, and they promised they will react to Monster after Haikyuu without a poll.

Will this Hunter finally be Hunted, as the show's title is asking for ? Hunter x Hunter... well that means Gon our little Hunter has to chase his Hunter dad, he is a Hunter's Hunter
There hasn't really been an explanation for Kite returning that I've seen. Most people either say they fed his brain to the queen or that his mysterious last roll he never got before came up and it was some sort of reincarnation ability. I think the brain one is probably the most reasonable explanation. They mentioned before brains are the tastiest part, so I could see Pitou suggesting feeding it to the queen but leaving the body for her to experiment on. As for the roll, frankly I think that one is a ridiculous stretch and I'd be pretty disappointed if the author went that way. Seems awfully weird to have a nen power that summons random rolls all appearing as some sort of weapon except one which is the power to reincarnate as the child of the queen chimera ant. And oh what crazy luck that that roll would finally come up for the first time ever moments before he gets killed.
Since the ant queen never eat Kite (he was a puppet) it confirms that Reina have Kite's memories because he (and presumably all the other ants) reincarnated instead of the memories being passed down genettically through the ants natural skill to heritage the characteristic of the animals they eat. I have biiiig expectation in Reina/Kite character in the future, being Meruem's twin could mean that Reina/Kait will be insanely op in the future
My theory is that Pitou fed Kite’s brain to the Ant Queen, therefore Kite was reincarnated through Phagogenesis. It’s common sense among the colony that the brain is the most nutritious part of a Nen user, so Pitou had all the reason to feed Kite’s most nutritious body part to the Queen to help the development of the King. Pitou only needed Kite’s corpse to control him with her Puppeteering ability.
That's my guess too, because when you see the meat being stocked by the pig, they stock very large amount of it, and that must be for the entire colony, and the brains must have gone all to the Queen.
*SPOILERS* . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Nah, Kite reincarnated through his own ability. This is not only confirmed by Ging but it's also important thematically because the whole point is that Gon needed to realize that Kite didn't just throw away his life or sacrifice himself for him, so he shouldn't feel burdened by it and survivor's guilt, it gives Kite important characterization and agency.
@@angrashadow2958 Spoilers I only wish we got a clearer explanation to how it works. Nen is life energy so its connected to the soul and I get that, but why reincarnated from the Queen? And is that ability based on nen after death ?
Spoilers But even if it is part of an ability, wouldnt it make more sense that pitou fed the Queen his brain, why would a royal guard pass the chance to make the king so much stronger. So maybe it is both ?
@@Shallabais100 SPOILERS . . . . . . . . . . . . . Yeah I do hope we eventually get more clarification through Kite himself. I imagine it's some sort of luck-based ability that allows his soul to survive if his body doesn't, and it just found the nearest host. And yes it's most certainly a post-mortem Nen ability which explains why it's so powerful.
Kite was reincarnated into human not into a Chimera Ant because of his special weapon. As u remember, his special weapon is a lottery. When he fought with Pitou, Kite was expecting a Scythe but unfortunately his special Weapon gave him a useless clown. That clown is a reincarnation. He was not ate by the Queen.
Its still not great. Its honestly the only miss on the series
Nah, it's a total cop out. And diminishes a lot of the actions of other characters. It'd Genkai all over again. Bringing people back from the dead completely diminishes everything leading up to their deaths. Togashi is a brilliant writer, but he made the same mistake twice in a row.
Damn, you guys almost made me pay your patreon to see your reaction to this, but it was worth the wait. I began watching hunter x hunter because of your reaction, and i fininshed a long ago, but it was definittly one of the best experiences i've had with anime. Lola and Milena are the best at reactions, hands down
Nen can be Fun and can be Complicated. If ANYONE 'always had some question' (in my experience most-likely about a specific nen-type they just dont grasp) feel more-than-freee to ask mee. Only thing i love more than clearing up misunderstanding is hear if someone has a fan-made Hatsu
悲しいストーリーが終わってすぐにジンが十二支んとして登場した時の反応笑。あの最後だけで次の章も面白いって確信できるのが冨樫先生の凄さ。見せ方が上手すぎる
your reaction to the ending is killing me, it was all building up to this moment. you guys sounded so fond but mad at the same time while saying “fucking asshole” “what a dick” lmao.
Oh you guys are in for a finish . HxH is so goated
11:03 hits my emotions every time, even after around 8 or 9 complete watch throughs of the show. Never fails to get me teary eyed and choked up
you know the show is actually unpredictable when you guys keep getting surprised after 136 episodes
but also cheers for getting almost every prediction right at the end, election arc is my fav
Jajajaja la reacción a la aparición de Ging es oro puro!! Las amo ❤
Milena crying for Reina but didnt cry for Meruem and Komugi I love this 2
She is just like me fr. But years later I read the meruem komugi scene in manga and i couldnt help but cry
I get the most excited when I get notifications from this channel 😊
Of course 135 is my highlight of the whole series, and I’ve been waiting for that since you started the series, but as we reached it, I also strongly anticipated your reaction to Ging in 136. Did not disappoint.
The next arc is actually my second favorite! I’m really excited for your reaction to how it all wraps up! And Ging.
Your reaction to seeing Ging is totally epic.
the man, the myth, the legend, he's here

You girls are going to love this arc. So much. It's like the author may be mistaken as not understanding how others see certain characters but then he shows that he understands fully and delivers!
p.s. I just want to thank the Patreon supporters for getting these girls to finally watch Frieren omggg
Kite reborn because of his number 3 Crazy slot the magic wand .. Togashi (writer of hxh) inspired by his wife creation she was the writer of sailor moon and which the main weapons are magic baton or wand that they can use to resurrect the dead .
LOL my favorite part about watching reactions to this episode are the eye rolls and head shakes when Ging appears.
Alright, NOW we've finished it. 61 episodes...

@@slevinchannel7589i like reading fan-made hatsu that actually would work out in HxH verse. Can you recommend any sources? Nen has infinite potential that's why it's my favourite power system in anime along with Stand powers from Jojo's
@@GentlemanQ Just reading or also making?
Well, iehter way, EVEN IF it puts me in quite the disadvantage if you and me were to ever Battlee, I'm willing to tell you at least the Basics about my rather Uniqe Hatsu
@@GentlemanQ Not sure what you mean with sources. You mean good hxh-youtubers? Well, the biggest is undoubtedly New World Review
@@slevinchannel7589 yeah sources such as TH-cam channels, reddit threads and such. Also the fact you'd be willing to explain your Hatsu to me reminds me of Kurolo explaining his hatsu to Hisoka at the beginning of their fight at Heavens Arena XD, how nice and badass would that be!
So proud of Killua's growth as a character.
On to the next arc!
Lola and Milena do not take into account that the end of HXH is not in these 12 episodes, this arc is just a transition... there is a long way to go until the end, it is where the most epic thing happens with Kurapika as the protagonist.
About Kite, yall should remember them talking about how Nen, when strong enough, it can survive even after a person is dead. Is a powerful thing
Idk if it’s all the crying this episode or what but the girls are GLOWING today . Great reaction and as beautiful as always ! Can’t wait to see their reactions to this final arc.
their reactions to Ging’s entrance haha 😂
Oh god, I know what you're saying. By the time I got to the end of this arc I was so emotionally exhausted, basically just limping through the pages hoping for things to be over already.
And thank god I stopped then, cause if I had scrolled just a bit more to see Gings freaking face, I'd have lost my mind!
I love how you both just laughed when Ging showed up 😂😂
I like how they kept shaking their heads when they saw Ging lol.
Man, I love the Chimera Ant arc, so very much. One of my segments of television I've ever watched. You 2 enjoyed it as much as i could ever hope, if not more. Thank you L and M ❤🥲👏👏👏
This reaction was better than i expected i laughed a lot.
What a good song they put in the description, the ending of HXH. I started listening to it for you. 😎🎶🎵🎼
I what you mean about the peace in this ending. After all the horrors we saw, the violence, the inhumanity the almost genocide. The fact that people survived all that and don't want to keep on fighting, feels like a gift to be treasured
They went through rollercoaster emotions lol😂😂😂
they cried more in this episode than the last 😂
Pitou actually explained that the Kite we saw was just a hollow body,
so im assuming his brain and organs were fed to the Queen and with the rest of kites body,
pitou create a puppet.
that would explain how kite cud be reborn as that child.
Actually, no gin explains why later.
Have u watched the show? its explained later
We know what the restrictions are??@@libellum7085
You guys’ laughing fit at the end killed me lol
Can't wait for Pariston - I wonder how long it'll take for them to hate him more than they hate Ging.
There are so many emotions in this episode.
The Chimera ant arc is like the best cake that you can eat in your life, and this final arc is like the cherry on top to finish it all.
Reina reuniting with her mom gets me SO MUCH. It's so good. And, well, after all this time, you've finally seen Ging LMAO. What a fucking jerk
The way you two are going to LOVE hating Ging is going to be next level lmao
The reaction was stronger from Milena lol
Just a couple of hours ago, the most epic and competitive poll ever on Patreon ended. For 4 days, the votes were almost exactly 50/50, sometimes just one or a couple of votes apart, sometimes the exact same amount even after 1600 votes. Between Haikyuu and Monster, you can't even imagine the craziness of that poll, with more than 2500 comments. They almost tossed a coin to settle the decision. It was funny but also a traumatizing experience, and we almost ended all with PTSD, so I doubt something like that will ever happen again 😂
At the end the winner was Haikyuu, and they promised they will react to Monster after Haikyuu without a poll.
Quem ganhou??
Diz-me que Haikyu ganhou
Gon : dies
Ging : now I can appear 😏
Oh boy cant wait for that episode✊️
Decenas de capítulos especulando cuando aparecería Ging y la sorpresa que se llevaron fue épica.

It’s common sense among the colony that the brain is the most nutritious part of a Nen user,
so Pitou had all the reason to feed Kite’s most nutritious body part to the Queen to help the development of the King.
Pitou only needed Kite’s corpse to control him with her Puppeteering ability.
That's my guess too, because when you see the meat being stocked by the pig, they stock very large amount of it, and that must be for the entire colony, and the brains must have gone all to the Queen.

Spoilers
I only wish we got a clearer explanation to how it works. Nen is life energy so its connected to the soul and I get that, but why reincarnated from the Queen? And is that ability based on nen after death ?
Spoilers
But even if it is part of an ability, wouldnt it make more sense that pitou fed the Queen his brain, why would a royal guard pass the chance to make the king so much stronger. So maybe it is both ?

Yeah I do hope we eventually get more clarification through Kite himself. I imagine it's some sort of luck-based ability that allows his soul to survive if his body doesn't, and it just found the nearest host. And yes it's most certainly a post-mortem Nen ability which explains why it's so powerful.
Mileena insisting she'd kill Kite again herself if she were in Gon's position 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
Kite was reincarnated into human not into a Chimera Ant because of his special weapon. As u remember, his special weapon is a lottery. When he fought with Pitou, Kite was expecting a Scythe but unfortunately his special
Weapon gave him a useless clown. That clown is a reincarnation. He was not ate by the Queen. He was just killed by Pitou so when he was born inside the Queens womb in a human form not a Chimera Ant.😊😊😊
