Kurapika and Leorio continued on their way without knowing anything about what we saw, just like Hisoka and Ilumi... It is just like the analysis they do after the episode❤

Leorio's voice actor passed away in 2020, so we won't be able to hear his voice when the anime restarts. It makes me feel very sad when I see the scene where only Leorio looks back during the ending song.
i myself love Ging , and i think he is a much better father than people give him credit . and that is for some reasons : 1. ignoring the circumstances surrounding the absence of Gon's mother . by the time Ging had him , he was one of the strongest nen users . he must have had a lot of enemies and responsibilities . staying away from him from the beginning was probably the only way to keep him safe and give him a good chance at a normal life, at least until he was old enough to want something else . 2. i think the story shows that Ging was very independent and that his thoughts and decisions were very much his own , and that he valued that very much and wanted his son to have the same independence , but he realized that if he stayed with him , the shadow that he would cast on Gon would be too great that it would shape his expectations of himself too strongly ( even with him away , and gon knowing almost nothing about him ; it still did ). 3. i think Ging knew that Gon as a young child needed a mother figure much more than a father figure .and that Mito who lived on a small island where gon is one of two children ( so every one would treat him like family ) was better for him . i think he also knew himself and that he is not capable of raising Gon on his own even if he wanted. 4. even thou Ging was physically absent , he kept tabs on his son whom he knew was going to be like him , and he made preparations to give him drive and help him become strong enough for the life he would choose (he literally made Greed Island for him ). 5. it is obvious that Ging just like Gon has a very strange outlook on life , and unlike Gon he finds it hard to express his feelings frankly . this combination leads him to express his feelings indirectly or avoid that entirely .which makes him look uncaring . but if we know something about him , it is that he does care, especially about people close to him . and we see that clearly in Mito's backstory . i think all of these reasons and maybe more combined , some more than others . made him make the decision to stay away from his son. for that and more i think he is a great character and a better (than seems) father because even if he was wrong in his choices i think he made them for his son because he thought they were the wright choices. plus, by the end of the show he gives one of the best one-liners in anime and manga.
The way Ging gets introduced as a Hunter is so damn good. When at first people were saying Ging was one of the best Hunters, I just expected him to be strong. Conditioned by other anime. But then he gets properly introduced and the first thing he does is ''make his target move the way he wants..'' Its just so amazing. It really speaks to me. i didn’t realize how confusing kite’s reincarnation was for most people. but if you consider his nen ability and also his fight with pitou you’ll see that he rolled a “3” and his staff took the form of a baby’s toy… the number 3 is symbolic for “life, death, & rebirth”. i know that not much is explained about kite’s nen ability but he was able to reincarnate because of his nen ability, not because he was eaten by the ants.
i still dont like that part.i know he is ging student so it makes sense he know how to revive himself but like idk. i didnt really like it. wish he dead for good. he doesnt have much impact to the story aside from what happened to gon i guess. and nanika, i also dont like her. i mean i know shes an introduction to Dark continent but like killua using her with no consequence is so meh to me. he has instant genie. aside from those two, i have no major issues with the series. i still love it much

Everytime I rewatch this show, I only rewatch up to YorkNew arc, and only the specific episodes in Greed Island and election arc where Kurapika appeared even just for a sec. I know most of the fans changed their fave from Kurapika to Killua but I didn't. I like Killua but I love Kurapika. Love him since 1999

i didn’t realize how confusing kite’s reincarnation was for most people. but if you consider his nen ability and also his fight with pitou you’ll see that he rolled a “3” and his staff took the form of a baby’s toy… the number 3 is symbolic for “life, death, & rebirth”. i know that not much is explained about kite’s nen ability but he was able to reincarnate because of his nen ability, not because he was eaten by the ants.
i still dont like that part.i know he is ging student so it makes sense he know how to revive himself but like idk. i didnt really like it. wish he dead for good. he doesnt have much impact to the story aside from what happened to gon i guess.
and nanika, i also dont like her. i mean i know shes an introduction to Dark continent but like killua using her with no consequence is so meh to me. he has instant genie.
aside from those two, i have no major issues with the series. i still love it much
I would have much more preferred to see Gon deal with his death slowly and gradually overcome it, and learn that death is part of life and is also one of the risks of being a hunter and grow from this fact. at the time there wasnt any major character deaths that effective the main characters too much. So it would have been interesting if Kite would have remained dead.
but like maybe togashi is playing a long game here. i really hope. others like that he was reborn but imo, it felt unnecessary

Ging might play it off like all he does is just for Fun & Games, but he really has *_much_* deeper intentions with his plays espectially the rules, if it wasn't obvious.
(In particular keeping Pariston under wraps, as you will continue to see him do)

Actually there is a reason why ging wana know the voters name. Because there are 2 unknown groups inside the assiosiation. He just want everybody else think he just wana have fun, as a disguise.
You two will know how ging moves also how pariston moves. And after seeing this arc pariston is now my favorit caracter in HXH.
Once you have finished the show can you do reaction read-along of the manga that continues the story? Its focus is on Kurapika mostly so nice to see what he is doing again.
Technically Kurapika should be in the last ep only. But they also added him in between. I don't know what would have been better.

I feel you Lola. Even though Kurapika was absent in more than 60 episodes he remains my #1 favorite character. Everytime I rewatch this show, I only rewatch up to YorkNew arc, and only the specific episodes in Greed Island and election arc where Kurapika appeared even just for a sec.
I know most of the fans changed their fave from Kurapika to Killua but I didn't. I like Killua but I love Kurapika. Love him since 1999
