Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on TH-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on TH-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on TH-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

I think this led to David Bowie asking Rick Wakeman to add piano to his songs on Hunky Dory and Space Oddity. He did not join the Spiders of Mars, but instead joined the progressive rock band Yes.

Love Cat Stevens -Many life lessons and directions came from Yusuf. 2 most important was " Peace Train " which started the whispers into my head about working on trains. The other " Wild World " to go on out there and be careful. Love to Yusuf

@@rubroken I have never been aware of this. This whole death issue is a conundrum in my opinion. I live in a country supposedly " One Nation under God " yet we send out men to kill other men in other nations. Then the death sentence is another problem. Men should never be allowed to decide another man's fate as far as their life. I have often wondered how the people who administer " The Death Penalty " are viewed by God. Its a crazy world

This is my favorite of his songs. When I was in the 5th grade, my teacher got married at the United Nations chapel. Someone played this song on guitar as my teacher walked down the aisle in her beautiful white gown, with the sunlight streaming through the stained glass windows. It was the most beautiful beautiful sight, and I will never forget it. Every time I hear this song I have that visual.

I like how this song equates each new morning to the story of the Garden of Eden. Many people don't realize that Judaism, Islam and Christianity all share the same story of the creation (Eden, Adam & Eve etc).

As a young man trying to make my way in a new city far away from home, I met nearly every day with this song on my tongue and/or in my heart. That new fresh morning energy helped me to thrive, and I would recommend it to anyone. I had also just finished reading "Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind" which shares a similar theme. Rick Wakeman's "Six Wives of Henry 8th" is worth your ears, as are Yes' greatest masterpieces, "Close to the Edge" and "Awaken", where you should be brought to tears, and Heaven.

Love this song! Cat Stevens is a great singer songwriter with a very unique sounding voice. One of my first albums I ever bought was "Tea For The Tillerman". The whole album is great. So is the album "Teaser & The Firecat". He has had so many great songs in his career such as "Matthew & Son", "The First Cut Is The Deepest", "Wild World", "Oh Very Young", "Peace Train", "Father & Son", "Moonshadow" etc. He is still recording & performing live & his voice still sounds great.

Lovely, of course, but much as I admire Cat Stevens' music most of the credit for this one has to go elsewhere :- to Rick Wakeman for his inspired piano arrangement; to Eleanor "Nellie" Farjeon who wrote the lyrics in 1931 inspired by the Sussex village of Alfriston, near where I grew up; and to the unknown composer(s) of the traditional Scottish Gaelic tune Bunessan, named for the village of that name in the West Hghlands, near where I live now🙂
