In pmping iron it was done very on purpouse, to make a dark and light, a glory champion schwarzenegger and darker underdog trying to take his spot.

Definitely parallels between him and the young Lou Ferrigno in this regard. Unfinished potential indeed. But at least we got to witness a portion of his greatness.

For me he is the Russian Travis Begant. Very extroverted, very talented armwrestler, but sometimes showbooting too much. One example is his weight lifting numbers he put out there, they were just exagorated...
Missing some infos.....Voevoda was vegan in 2015 comeback against Bresnan and just 104 kg ...- 20kg from prime .....and his endurance was only 15 seconds comparing Bresnan 40 seconds...when Mazurenko tested before the match.....so if he stay lean and vegan drugs free than zero chance to conquer again

(I also mention later in the video that he was vegetarian for some time and turned vegan after.)

Heart wise Alexey is in the same level as Arnold Schwarzenegger. He likes to have fun and as the fun ends, he goes to do something else. And in armwrestling, theb fun ends when you are no. 1, like undisputed no.1. He saw that very cleary no one could beat him in atleast 10 years so there was no point staying back since the exposure in armwrestling was almost zero compared to what it is now. We all need some attention when we are amongst people. His life is a pendulum between his immense strength, desire to perform at the highest level, desire for attention and being in the limelight, and ageing. And the armwrestling world nowadays are laughing at him as if he is nothing. Whereas the audience knows that he is better than all of them. It is better for him to keep his calm and keep his class. The audience loves the aura of Alexey. He doesn't have to shout and Insult others like Devon or Travis. He doesn't have to proove that he is commited to the sport to anyone. We love Alexey for what he once was. And if he dicides to return and loose to Tim Bresnan, that's good for Tim.
