I never thought yaris and 120mph could be put together. I was wrong...
Any car with with about 100-110 hp will do 120 mph, so will many Yaris models that aren't this top of the line.
My old Yaris SR 1.8 would do it fairly easily. This thing would eat it for breakfast though.

you know that speedo is in KMH? Quickest I saw was about 130kmh (80mph)
This is the engine that should have been in the BRZ and GT86. Not that torque-less gutless rough crap that sounds like it's using nails for lubrication.
I think the 2.0 turbo boxer from the WRX would be even better, even though this does have more character..
Ever wonder why the GT86 handles so well? The boxer engine sits lower... Regardless, I agree with you. haha!
Gt86 would become a legend of they put even 250ho without any doubt I don't know why they didn't improve it with facelift, such a mistake....

I know that Gt86 is not like a golf gti, I drove it many times and going to buy one but all fucking doubts about this car is that it has too little hp, looks like a beast but it's slower than this yaris and other small hot hatch, it should be at least possibility to choose 2 power versions
@@viii8993fortunately not us. I know there is a lot of them with turbo 280-320hp. The most powerful in my country has 1000hp for drifting but swap to 2jz

Topkarretje. We hebben er zelf eentje, nr. 117/400. Er zijn in totaal 622 exemplaren gebouwd. 22 als promotie model (waaronder degene uit het filmpje volgens mij), 400 voor de Europese markt en 200 voor de Japanse. Een supercharger in dit formaat auto is geweldig. Het karretje is ook lekker oldschool, gewoon starten en blazen zonder allerlei rij instellingen en gewoon met de hand schakelen.
if only Toyota had it priced lower it'd sell like hotcakes.
It has sold like hotcakes because it's a limited edition and people order it really fast.
Akio Toyoda has already said that when the new Yaris comes out they will have a sport version mass produced, that one will be cheaper to buy than this "exotic" version.

And then it would be too common and lose value if the roads were filled with them. Nothing worse than seeing a hundred other cars the same as yours on the way to work.

Its limited, and also too expensive to compete with the other cars. You could buy so many bigger, better and better driving cars for the price of the Yaris GRMN.

The problem with Japanese cars is that they look and feel so cheap and so insubstantial. This sounds like an aftermarket tuner special and looks wierd too. It may be quick but at least the Europeans can make small hot hatches that are fun and also driveable on a daily basis with better quality. Look at this interior. Plastic galore. It looks horrible.
SDav21 is make to last, not like fancy interior broken or teared after few years... Also soft touch plastic is harmfull for healt.
But yes this interior looks outdated

From your reaction I just know you haven't heard this car for real. It produces a raw, non-engineered raspy and rally-ish sound. I prefer it compared to the "farty" noises most sport(y)cars make nowadays.
And about the interior, I don't really care. Expensive looking stuff in the interior of a car doesn't impress me at all. It's about the seating and the boshoku seats in this Yaris are top-of-the-bill! :-)
