When I was a "kid" in my late teens & twenties I kept both ears & eyes open around those older than me, both those that were successful & failures to learn all I could on what to do, & what not to do in my life. One thing I was told over & over again was invest, invest, invest. Glad I listened, I am able to retire at anytime at a damn early age.
As a Greek person the moment i would hear "i am Greek and i am a descendant of Zeus" unironically, i would quit the guild and get a restraining order. Non-greeks might not take it as anything more than just weird, it but that is a massive, MASSIVE red flag. Also the " and more" in reference of Zeus probably mean he was from Crete. The myth says that it was Zeus's birthplace.

I was on azuremyst at this time and the server first guild was averice and their gm was a mage of whom i have forgotten the name its been a long time, they got sf on pretty much everything untill they disbanded a little after totc i believe maybe ulduar but i know they raided uld because we were going for SF algalon 25 and they killed it days before we did, i still remember that message popping up in chat xD those were good times Edit: it just so happens there is actually a video of this kill still on youtube this drama time brought back memories thanks preach
i never knew ragnaros was south america, I did however come to realize over some time that if anyone from ragnaros was in a raid they were consistantly the absolute bottom of any meter and would die constantly to any type of mechanic. It was hilarious how it reliably it happened.
Brazillian raiders have been a plague on wow since the dawn of wow inception. They are everywhere on private servers and its awful. Toxic, ninjas, shitters, always the worst in the group.
In my experience you need atleast a few people whose whole purpose is to parse. As long as they aren’t too over bearing I don’t mind helping them out so they can carry the dps.

It's true though. I can't stand rag players. 90% of my m+ runs hasn't been great because of rag players. Either they mess up and leave, play poorly, or if there is a wipe in the run they just ditch out. It's so hard finding the few good players so I just black list the server.

I as a Druid killed Anzu at Heroic Sethekk Halls dungeon that dropped the ground mount Reins of the Raven Lord, with only a 1% drop rate. Yes I know how odds work, doing it 2 days in a row doesn't increase your odds of getting it, the odds are always 1% I ran it for 2 years everyday during Lich King. I'm 100% sure you needed a druid in your party to summon Anzu, or be a druid to solo it, also didn't hurt to walk past most everything stealthed to speed up the daily run. And Anzu could only be summoned once a day. I started dating a girl I met in game IRL & from time to time she'd run Sethekk Halls with me knowing how much time I put into it & she said she's have the second one that drops. And when ever we saw someone on Raven Lord we'd both drool, & not just because it was rare, or looked different that the other mounts that all came in 18 different recolorings, at this time Raven Lord was 100% unique, there were zero variations of this mount recolored. But on her birthday I told her if it dropped it would be hers to take, that no man would take his irl girl friends chance for a 1% super rare mount card on her 21st birthday, the last birthday in a humans life that mattered, countinnnnng birthdays after 21 is just stupid, unless your the age to retire, but pfff, by than you're old & no one cares.
Ragnaros and all OCE/LA servers are to be avoided like the plague. Want a raid, dungeon, or m+ to be a complete waste of time and fail to complete anything? Party with someone from those servers. Its literal cancer.
u cant single buff people in retail, so that story is fake. the raid leader would have noticed that people didnt have buffs earlier anyway since even more casual guilds use addons for that
I was going to say the same thing. So the whole raid would have to be unbuffed which I guess *might* favor some classes over others... but more likely the story is either fake or stolen from an older wow story when it was actually feasible to do something like that.
Pretty sure that first story was either nonsense or he was playing on a janky private server. The big giveaway was stealing from his friend's house. UO housing on the official servers didn't work that way - you couldn't even enter someone's house unless they gave you a key. Even if you could get in, you couldn't actual take anything unless you had access. Figuring out who was stealing from you would be pretty easy. There were hacks and bugs you could use to get around it but it didn't involve stealth.
Azralon is full of amazing players, mythic raiding guilds and great pvpers but there is a culture of "trolling the americans" here since we have been the target of a lot of racism and harrasment that comes from them so if you are NA and you meet someone from Azralon in a pug and he is playing shitty there is a high chance that they are doing it on purpose. Like in everything this is not what all Brazilian players do, i myself dont do stuff like that. Now the Ragnaros players... yeah they are just shit at the game... ive never met a good Ragnaros player since that server opened.
