We were in the same elevator for about 5 minutes one day, about 20 years ago. It was not until after I got off the lift that I realized who the short, silent lady behind the dark sunglasses was…. she left me with absolutely no impression whatsoever.
Hope you sleep well my friend. Your comment is very disheartening to kick someone that gave her heart to the most incredible art form in the world. Scotto will never be Our Maya but she had some very memorable moments in her career. Scotto was never my choice of a soprano. Please delete your comment Your better than this my friend. Very dismissive of a woman who gave pleasure to opera fans worldwide. Her voice was not to everyone’s taste, but she was a very interesting performer, and at her best, worth a listen, if you don’t like her, don’t watch.
vielen vielen vielen dank für das hochladen

Vielen Dank fürs Hochladen, tolle Videos, und echtes Archivmaterial :)
Apparently she understands the German questions but prefers to answer in her own tongue. Of course she speaks excellent English.
Vielen Dank für die Aufnahme!

Were you expecting a concert in the elevator? What impression were you expecting? She was just another person when she wasn’t on the stage.
@@wotan10950 True. Maybe the courteous thing to have done is for one of us to have said,
“Good afternoon “ even “Buon pomeriggio!” 😉
She will be forgotten. She mostly already is! Her voice was a very lyric and white voice that decline quick.

Do not insult great singers who are cherished by many among their fondest memories. No one is forcing you to feel the same way.
@@liedersanger1 You know how Callas Widows are. They can't abide anyone but their goddess. Just like Trump supporters.
