Once prayer and the Bible were taken out of the School system, the very fabric of our Great Nation was torn by those who have wanted to destroy her from within. It is time to drain the swamp of the Evil Morons who are still determined to carry out that task, but we, the American people have a voice in the placement in Office of the ones who will make America Great Again. Vote wisely, because our Children and our Children's Children will have to deal with the choises we make. Take care.. Stay safe.. and God bless America.
Congress at least democratic are in office for themselves, not us. They could care less about us. Locking us up would make them happy..

I am an Iranian immigrant to the United State. In 1977 at the age of eleven we moved to America for one year. The first time I heard the pledge of allegiance it was in 6th grade at our school in Peterborough New Hampshire. And boy did I fall in love, not with one of the girls at school but with the pledge of allegiance and this great country! In 1979 we immigrated on a permanent basis to America and in 1996 I was honored to become a naturalized US citizen! And yes my whole family has since become Christians. God continue to bless America!
Then you Sir, are a better AMERICAN than many who were born here and take it ALL for granted.

@Dave Clark Dave I thought I was getting off of here, I have a spinal injury also but not from serving the country, my father was a prisoner of war my whole family including my nieces and nephew serve this country I was disabled born that way but I did get that awful virus I’m on oxygen I can’t hardly see I’m using it I can’t remember the name of it Dow is the severe on here so long magnifying glass I started out on God bless the USA and seen all the petty comments so I stopped to pray for them and leave a comment I started out on July 15, 2022 it is now 3:02 AM July 16 I’m still recovering from that awful terrible virus I’m on oxygen and I can’t walk Atlanta I’m trying to get better I love this country I thank you for your service my dad was a prisoner of war I don’t know if I said that already I am so tired but I promise Lord I would do this and he woke me up this morning to pray for America and that’s what I’m doing so God bless you I don’t know how much I can go on but I’m trying to serve my country and my God by doing this God bless you God bless America

After WWII, in a small store in Tokyo, I literally bumped in to a very quiet and humble man named Red Skelton. A true American Patriot!
I remember him. I remember this talk. He was wonderful. But at that time, I didn't dream that our people would lose their love for country. Everyone needs to listen to this.

Also there’s no rule that says prayer or praying should not be allowed in public schools or places. What is prohibited is requiring a specific church or religion should be forced on the public. All of the founding fathers as far as history shows us believed in a Providence (aka Creator or God); most of them read the Bible regularly. They also prayed before making decisions.
I was a little girl riding in my Pops car hearing this. Even then it was powerful enough to instill a sense of patriotism that has never left me.

His pledge has been edited. Left out under GOD. Also left out how he predicted the pledge being removed in 1960
@@m10s13h49 He notes “Under God” was added at the end. The time he was referring to in this was when he was a child as he referenced the “48 states” (also noted at the end that two states had been added since then). “Under God”’ was added in the 50’s.

I remember a radio program I listen to 30 years ago would play this once a year on flag day. Seeing this now in 2021 gives me hope.
While it is a fact that several people do not acknowledge, the Bill of Rights was written to protect the people from the government, not the other way around.
Red Skelton has clearly pointed out that the same concept applies to the Pledge of Allegiance.

Every year that I taught U S History, I would have my class write in their notebooks the transcript of what Red said in this. Got to know Red briefly when we both went to Lawrence Welk's in Escondido for Thanksgiving Dinner. Indeed, Red loved this country and He loved the Lord. Red's sign off for his Tuesday night broadcasts was always "Good night and God bless." When thinking of a sign off for my Bethany Bible Church Channel, I use a similar sign off in his honor. Red loved the Lord, and his earthly remains at Forest Lawn Glendale I visit when I am there.
In these tumultuous and trying times, this sentiment is needed more than ever. I wish that the mainstream media would play this occasionally, just to remind people, that no many how many faults America may have, we are by far, the best country on Earth.

Someone posted that Skelton had left out UNDER GOD in the pledge. He recited it as it had been in the past. After the Pledge he did point out that the two words UNDER GOD were added LATER, so he didn't leave out those two words. As a Christian man he would not have done so.

So glad I lived in a time when we looked forward to good laughter and real character as we turned on the television. So blessed. We knew what it meant to be proud of our country, our families, our friendships. Thank you to all who have served t keep it great.

The Pledge of allegiance is NOT to GOD. It's to a flag & a country.
Jesus said, " I stand behind no kingdom, municipality, or power. If you pledge allegiance to any kingdom, municipality, or power; you cannot pledge your allegiance to me".
So America is evil anyway. If you think we need prayer in our schools; which religion do you choose? What religion is practiced would be based on who's on the school board or in the State House.
So, this is why we separate church & state.
Otherwise, we'd be Israel, Saudi Arabia, or Iran. Those are religious Theocracies.
@@deehoupt5276 You really don't know what you are saying, The pledge of allegiance is to the standard of a country that believes IN GOD. Our constitution gives us the right to have freedom of religion. The real separation of church and state is that we have the right to believe in whatever God we choose and the government can't disallow that right.

Red said it all. Please God that men like this, men of wisdom, always help this nation toward the future. They are thin now, but I hope that there will be a least one in each generation.
I've seen this dozens of times, on many different sites.. and to Me, it NEVER get's old..
I go back to this video every so often just to remind myself we were once a great nation with great patriots like Red. My heart breaks when I see where we are and where we are headed. God bless the memory of Red Skelton.
