Wow! this was really painful to watch. There are so many easier ways to do this. I am a native rhino user. If you can ever learn rhino without the plug-ins, you will be much farther ahead of the game. One tip...When you are trying to select objects and use snaps, life will be much easier if you are in wire frame mode, rather than shaded. I'm not flaming you. I am really trying to be helpful.
No worries, definitely don’t know it all for sure. Everything I do there are 1000 other was to do it for sure. Actually that’s all I do is study Rhino and learn the extra helpful commands that MatrixGold adds in for making jewelry much easier of course. Appreciate any advice that will help. That’s all I’m trying to do with the content myself. My content is pretty raw. I don’t practice it over and over in order to get the idea video to put up that’s for sure. Lol I also usual never design with a picture I just have an idea in my head. When I first started they always told me have a picture but I never really did it that way lol. Totally hear you with the wireframe especially when I have my curves set thicker in wireframe.. should have just dragged a box to select the curve would have been super easy and a no brainer. Obviously the brain wasn’t being used at the time but I usually don’t have that hard of a time selecting them that’s for sure. Sorry I made your eyes burn watching it. Lol but thanks I’m fine with whatever advice you can offer up for all to learn from. What other advice would you give to make it easier to design something like this? Would love to hear it. Please I’m being totally honest. Can always learn more from other CAD guys for sure.
