Wow.....Creator and Lani in the Belmont and Frosted winning the Met Mile made their sire Tapit very proud today. Was a Gray day......LOL Destin also Gray is son of Giant's Causeway......I think. Was a great gray day!! Congrats to all. Especially Lani. He's loved Churchill Down track since he got there. AND in pictures it showed he was happier and even playful with his team while they gave him a bath. He loved it there. I KNEW he'd do a lot better in this race. WELL, he got paid in the Preakness race too taking 5th. Was a great race day today. Racing 3 in a row is exhausting for the horses. NOW they can get a good rest/ turn out to get the muscles back in shape. ;)

This was really a bad race for kent aboard Exaggerator. He strangled him when he was ready to go and ruined his race. My bet is that kent was drunk again. Drunk riding which is his favorite past time. Kent is just hard to trust.

very bad group of 3 year olds this triple crown series . I bet a lot will race as 4 year olds because there wont be lines waiting to bred to many of these very average 3 yr olds
My friend's roommate liked this race, and I don't understand the hoopla over it. Even Materiality from last year, could demolish this field. The Breeder's Cup will be interesting I bet. I can see it now, 4 year olds, from last year coming in Win, Place, Show, this year 3 year olds way behind. Some of their bloodlines are good , but they aren't their sire, or grandsires.
It seemed ages before they got to the finish line. I think many will be milers and sprinters , they were having a tough time with the mile and 1/2, it was hard on them. I'm looking forward to Songbird too! Any one of the fillies this year, could beat these so-so colts. The fillies were much better. Carina Mia should be in the Breeder's Cup Classic. I'm already looking into this year's two year olds.
