    Technically don't need an MPC to get phatt sounding drums. It's all about how you process the drums. I just recently moved of standalone hardware sequencing and went Hybrid after ditching my MPC5000 back in January. Presonus Studio One Pro is now my master MIDI sequencer while my Presonus Atom drum pad controller replaced my MPC. I basically route the Line Outs of my audio interface from my DAW drum sampler into the inputs of my analog outboard gear and process the mix and record it back into Studio One. This is no different than running the 8 line outs of your MPC into analog gear. Same principals. I still use hardware as that hasn't changed. I changed the workfow to sequencing my MIDI in the DAW instead of standalone hardware since I moved away from Workstation keyboards and switched them out with rack mount sound module versions of them. I own about 5 different sound modules all hooked up to my MOTU MIDI interface that use in conjunction with modern VST soft synths like Omnisphere or NI Komplete making mysetup a true Hybrid setup.

      Thank you for your message. That’s a dope way of doing it as well 🤙🏽. The mpc is how I’ve been doing it for years. I too use sound modules and Vst’s, however with an mpc as my main sequencer and for the sound. Keep making them drums bang the way you do and if we wanna really be technical the average listener can’t tell what we are using. I’m doing this for Mpc users.

    How do you connect two or more Akai MPCs together?

    • @FaT_TrAk
      @FaT_TrAk  หลายเดือนก่อน

      You’d have to sync it via midi have one be the master and one the slave
