    I lived in the area for 50 years. Even when I see or drive thru bessemer visiting relatives I still feel at home

    Bessemer used to be so pretty. Still got a lot of the old trees though.

    A lot of Spartanburg, SC looks like this & knowing Bessemer is 1 of the top 10 for violent crime is certainly disheartening. Don't come here all the same
