In my opinion, IU is one of the best female vocalists in "k-pop". Her voice is crystal clear and emotive (and she is doing amazing job with live performances) and as far as I can see she also has a beautiful personality. I follow you for BTS reactions but I will happily join you on your way into IU rabbit hole :)
I discovered IU after discovering BTS and she is honestly the only solo kpop artist that I enjoy. Her acting is ABSOLUTELY TOP TIER omg. The kdramas that she has been in are some of my personal favorites and her acting is so good that at times I forgot I was watching THE IU and was just watching the character. Her acting is That Good. “My mister” and “Hotel De Luna” are my faves. Then you turn around and remember she is a ppp star. She blows me away. I’m ARMY btw

I love IU, shes definitely my fave female Korean soloist (although I love a bit of Taeyeon) and i think her popularity is completely deserved. Blueming and Eight are my fave songs of hers but tbh I need to delve deeper in her discography.
IU is a crazy good vocalist! She's been nicknamed South Korea's little sister because she's so beloved there. Fandoms (ARMYs especially) playfully call her a chart/award eater because of that lmao, she wins awards easily and tops Korean charts pretty much immediately with her releases.
IU's probably the most beloved k-idol for us Armys, we got a lot of "carinho" for her (that's Brazilian Portuguese for having a certain cute and endearing affection for somebody). I saw your tweet on this, that Tribe would help you decide which artist to check out, and i'm glad you chose her first :) can't wait for her to come back releasing music, it's been a hot minute cause she's busy with her acting career, she's a wonderful actress too
I consider myself a casual listener (borderline fan) of IU and I love her voice so much...but I have this thing when it comes to branching out into new territory that holds me back and it's the fear of leaving what's familiar. There's only brief moments where I feel "brave" enough to take a plunge into an artist's entire discography, but I've been dying to do that with IU...this video might just be the push I need to do so!

She is practically a poet and musical prodigy since a very young age. Once you also discover her profound lyrics, it will move your soul. You won’t regret following her music & journey. It’ll change your life and how you view K-pop.
