Shot Glass full of tears is the one that touched my heart deeply. I remember feeling that emptiness for years in my early 20’s.. when I was 21, my fiancé died in a motorcycle accident.. after I struggled mourning his death, I fell into an abusive relationship that had a hold of me for 3 years. Once I found the clarity to leave that toxic relationship, I was convinced I’d lost the ability to feel real love. Self medicated for awhile. Then I met my now husband. He’s everything I didn’t realize I had been missing. We’ve been together 19 years and have 2 beautiful kids. Life is sweeter after you pull yourself from out of that pain. 💜

I think Jungkook took all his years of experience and put everything in this album. I loved it so much. When Yoongi and Jungkook get together, you can tell how much they appreciate each other for their talent and their brotherhood. Its so nice that Jungkook was so happy and comfortable on the show, and that he was able to speak freely about so many aspects of the album. I love that he was able to tell Yoongi how much he respected him and that he had fun performing again with his brother.

Don’t be sorry, we all have different tastes just like the members all have different flavors/colors they’re showing. Although some fans get in attack mode if something isn’t immediately loved, sometimes things are acquired tastes. If you don’t 100% dislike it, give this album another try. It’s still not my favorite flavor/color of the releases, but I love JK’s voice so much that I’ve added some of the more mellow (kind of sad) songs to my bts solo playlist and they work. Anyway, I just wanted to say it’s ok, not that you needed that, but people can be mean. Either way, he’s so talented and so on trend that he’s going to do insanely well (already has) so it’s ok if not everyone likes everything:)

I do like the slow songs tho..I like slow songs in general so Layover was my favorite release sonically. But since I am a big lyrics kind of girl and I judge most songs based on lyrics, DDay is my top favorite and Yoongi is my bias. Lyrics is what made me Army, so I hope you see my issues with Jk's solo releases. Anyways, thank you 💜💜💜
