Nice! You do a great job with these videos. I appreciate all the effort! I just bought a 2016 TI and I've taken it out twice in Shrewsbury Bay NJ so far this year. Lots of fun! I'm excited for it to warm up a bit! I appreciate your insight. Fair winds!
Thank you for the comment. The TIs are a lot of fun. I sail out of Sea Isle City sometimes. Perhaps we could meet for a sail in the coming months. You can find lots of my videos with sails from the Jersey shore. Enjoy.
Can you please tell me more about your trampoline and splash guards? Are these stock hobie trampolines? Where did you get the front splash guards? Also, can you tell me about your depth finder and navigation system you use? Thanks
Sorry for the very late reply! I picked up the trampolines from Tampa Catamarans. I hand made the splash guards. I used the Garmin Eccomap 64sv, but have recently moved to a tablet set up for navigation (no fish finder or depth).
Great video Jim. I still hope to buy a Hobie Tandem Island. I purchased a Windrider 16 but it is very heavy for me. I am 73 years old and would really like to have a Tandem Iskand. Your thoughts would be much appreciated.
Agree. The Hobie TI is much lighter than the Windrider boats and is easier to handle, especially in shallow waters, getting it launched of beaches and boat ramps.
Nice video Jim, looks like you had great wind to go with the chop. Did you ever get your anchor to hold? Thanks for sharing. It sure was beautiful water.
Yes, nice sailing! As for the anchor (blue Cooper)....it did ok on sandy bottoms but did not hold on the soft bottoms. As for this sail to Alligator Reef, the moderate waves bobbing up and down kept pulling the anchor up off the bottom and thus I had a slow drift downwind. I had a lot of scope (line) out but still had a drift. I am planning on switching out my anchor.....
I really enjoyed this James .Thank you for all the shots ..Those splash guards seem to be working very well.. May have to look into getting a set...
Fantastic Jim! Thanks
Uauuuuuu another great nice video 👍
Nice one
Florida, sailing a Multihull, AND some KAP: TWO THUMBS UP...👍👍
Yes - had to be on my toes for this one!
wow ...
Absolutely beautiful!😊
Thanks for the comment. The color of the water still amazes me!
Yet another fun and interesting video Jim. Amazing blue water. Hope to sail this someday!
Thank you. Agree - the bright blue water is stunning!

So much prettier than our brown brackish water off of GA
Agree. The color of the water was amazing. ..... back to my local brown water of the Chesapeake Bay , Delaware Bay and the Mid Atlantic Ocean....
