I was expecting 1 of 2 things to happen. Either he got there just in time for the drone's last shot to be of him reaching out just as it went into the water. Or for him to catch it before hitting the water, but for him and the drone taking a huge wave and both getting drenched.
Let’s take a moment to give the man who’s apparently The Flash’s protege a standing or sitting ovation in our minds. He’s earned it, truly. Amazing display of “I can’t afford to lose that high priced drone because I bought it instead of paying my mortgage” kind of run.

Tiny drones like that don't even work in the same house with a long hair cat. the fine long hair wraps around the rotor shafts and slows the propellers enough to prevent a drone from flying properly.
Something keep in mind, drones don't fly well in air containing long fine fibers. ;)

My guess it went into return to home mode and cheaper drones just make a beeline to their takeoff point.
Or trying to spy on a cheating wife and got disoriented by the mirrored windows.

A drongo is a type of bird.
Apparently it's slang based on a failing racehorse from the 1920s named Drongo, who was named after an Australian bird.
Its use is (or at least used to be) pretty standard issue here in Australia but Ozzy does deploy it perfectly.

With the amount of filming happening in the world today, you're going to catch accidents left right and center. People have accidents ALL THE TIME. People are clumsy, careless, and sometimes straight up dangerous without a thought to anything around them or themselves. Not all random videos are fake.

Best to take out liability insurance before flying one of those devices. They are a menace to the public.
@@WaterlooExpat Drone pilot here. They really aren't. We see the few instances of people flying their drones like dicks, but the actual accident rate is very very low compared to the sheer number of flights that happen every day. Drones are pretty dang safe and people getting hurt is very rare.

1:00 It was probably running low on battery and using the return to home function. Since it’s a DJI Phantom 3, it doesn’t have collision sensors like the newer ones do. If you drain the battery too low, it will automatically try to land itself from the location it took off at.

The crashes are part of the stunt training
They are also part of the repair and/or replace parts training. There's a reason why most of them come standard with replacement parts, even if it's just a few spare propellers.

Compared to an RC chopper they're a walk in the park.
Some are really easy to fly and have features such as obstacle avoidance to the front and or sides.
It all depends on how many gyroscopes the drone has.
If it was like a pissed of Sheila, all you would have to do is say "calm down" to it, right?
