    I think you did an excellent job in this presentation. I have been studying TA since December 2011, and your lecture was a terrific review.

    Hi, I'm just curious as to whether TA is influenced by Fred's 'id/ego/super ego'? Also, if you notice someone is continuously triggered into the parent or child ego state, is there a way of bringing them back into an adult ego state?

      E Little , the study of the Objectivism Philosophy is a study on how to incorporate adult rationality and facts into a conversation.
      I personally use Objectivism as an effective practical model of the Adult ego.

    Is transactional analysis its own subject like DBT or is it included in one of the courses from level 3 onwards? if it is the latter which level would this be learned at?

      T/A (Transactional Analysis) is more akin to AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) in that it is basically a self-help program . . .
      It should be classified under the heading . . .
      If you want something done right . . . do it yourself ! ! !
      It is not a school of learning . . . it is a school of thought
      Here is their web address . . .

    Hi, great presentation as usual, I watch them all! Could you explain to me why dancing in a fountain is adapted child and not negative free child please as I am confused by the research I have done. Thank you : )

    • @hughmoore786
      @hughmoore786 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe adaptive and negative free Child are both Parent ego states . . .
      I believe that goes along with examining the left quadrant of the right eyeball to determine the patients ego state . . .
      On a more positive note . . .
      The Parent represents . . . protection
      The Adult is . . . cognitive
      The Child is representative of . . . motivation
      Each can call on the other if they FEEL they are getting in too deeper waters or a negative situation . . .
