I have several of these for AR15s & one on a DPMS pattern AR-10. Love them. Cost to benefit ratio is off the charts- in comparison to their competitors.
I bought my first AR-15 (Radical Firearms) a year ago and this is the only modification I've made. The original mil spec CH feels flimsy and also doesn't work well for my thick fingers. The Warhammer is perfect and got mine on sale for only $30.
They have a good warranty also! I has a 9mm pcc that kept walking the roll pins out on the charging handle. Lost half the parts. Sent it back and they replaced it. Happy customer. I have about 5 of them now just because they stand behind it.
They also stand behind their charging handles having issues. I bought a very early version of these that had a roll pin issue, emailed them and got a new charging handle two days later. Would definitely buy from them again, amazing for the price and length.
Guess I found the perfect charging handle for my KS-47! Without a last round bolt hold, an oversized charging handle is exactly what I need for my build. Thanks Caleb!
@@xaza5625 Amazingly, get it. You will not regret it. It’s so much easier to manipulate but be warned, KS-47s are picky about magazines. And I got mine before the ammo got crazy expensive so I don’t shoot it often. I named mine Bacon because I wanna go hog hunting with it
@Frank-pc2rs I'll be honest I've run the crap out of them I have one on a 556 one in a 308 and they made one for freedom ordnance and I have one in my fx9 also and have used it to kickstart a stuck round out one time because morating wasn't working
@hopewilliams6705 Ok great to know. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I have one on my 308 as well so I was just wondering. So far I like mine.
You missed two gas control features, two cuts, both of which can be seen in the video. One on top, one on bottom, just south of the handle itself right on the stem, that give gas pressure a lesser path of resistance than straight back to the eyeballs/face. And they work very well. Awesome product, own two.
Don’t know if I received a bad example but an AR I purchased came with this CH. unfortunately the fit was very loose and would “blow back” on the last round. Thought maybe the 300 blk was over gassed so swapped to another AR…same thing, that is loose fit and would blow back on last round. Bought a Radian Raptor for the 300 blk tighter fit and would not blow back. Kept the warhammer as a back up but was disappointed and not a primary on any of our ARs
I put one on an LR and it works and looks great. Costs about half of some others and made in U.S.A., and you can tell that just by looking at it. Gives great access around LPVO and looks sleek af too.
Caleb - thanks! Seeing your scope back that far makes me feel much better about where mine is. My absolute favorite charging handle is Badger Ordinance, especially for a 308 AR, but this one is very nice for an AR-15. The serrations are a bit too aggressive IMHO but that’s far better than the opposite
Caleb, I was just looking at these, the other day. And I am liking the build quality, design, and Price! Thanks for reading my mind, and doing a video....😨
I've got one on one of my ar builds. Didnt know if it was as good as they said it would be but i have no complaints about it. Yes the price is very good for what you get. I think the one i got was on sale as well. Wish i had gotten two or three more.
I'm interested in the micro version. The latch angles and teeth makes the handle look usable with one finger despite a scope possibly being on the rear of an upper receiver.
I literally just bought this and it arrived yesterday. I put it in the gun and really like it better than my factory handle on my Radical RF15. I haven't even had a chance to shoot with it yet.
Generally those issues are from our earlier models of the Warhammer. We have improved our roll pin installation process by flaring out the pins for better retention. In general we are not having many of those same issues. If you have one that had broken like that please contact us on our website and we can get a new one out to you!
I run the war hammer and they are nice, but the roll pins will vibrate and work loose and fall out while shooting. It’s happen to mine twice on a 9mm pcc.
Not necessarily, blaming my new Warhammer charging handle, but a good majority of the time it does not charge the bolt into full battery… you have to give it a tiny push, but I’m going to give it another 250 rounds and see if it breaks in a little better.. curious for any comments as to whether this is common or whether I have something wrong….
I would like to know what you think of the Silencerco gasketing charging handle. It has an o-ring in the bottom of it to block gases when running a suppressor, or silencer.
This is the one used on my WWSD 2020 rifle (just not marked as so). It's a great CH, but it's really POKEY. I used the WWSD 2020 on a 10k Run-n-Gun and it poked a divot in my back after a couple of ours. So for R-n-G, I swap it out with a GI CH. But it's nice to have for 3-Gun.
I have a video showing where mine broke in less than 500 rounds. Radian raptor is much more robust. the warhammer is pretty light though. I'm not a pro so the video is shitty and not well spoken. My sample size is one unit too.
We replied to your video in hopes that we could get in contact with you so we can get this issue fixed and get a working part in your rifle. We have upgraded our roll pin system for the latches to combat any of those problems you may have had. Please get a hold of us so we can make this right!
A couple people mentioned durability issues. What is their warranty? Experience on that as a vendor, Brownells? I like that it is smaller. It is bigger than stock, but not too big. I'm a few parts away from finishing my SPR-ish gun. Upper and mag release coming today from Brownells. Maybe I should put my radian on the big gun (it is a little pokey when slung, on precision gun it would work easier around optics) and try this on my main rifle. I carry it a LOT. Is it trust worthy? Have they made updates?
I'm glad you asked! Addressing the concerns with our pins walking out was top priority for us. We have improved our roll pin installation process to flare the pins out so they have much better retention. This has increased the reliability a ton. As for our warranty policy we will replace any parts that you are having these kinds of issues with through our lifetime warranty.
@@BreekArms ^^ Always like hearing from the manufacturer. You get a gold star 😁 And to be fair that's a pretty easy home-gamer repair too. I've had to add a tiny chamfer and punch a flare in roll pins before. NBD. The overall dimensions look nice and the price is right. Thanks for the answers.

Im currently using the Radian Raptor LT for my lightweight AR. Any reason to upgrade to this? Is it even an upgrade? No complaints with my current setup.
I recently got my first ever ar and noticed when i have a mag in and pull back the charging handle, the charging handle slides back and forth freely but the bolt does stay locked back. Is this normal or is there an issue with a part? Its a milspec handle
If you haven’t found out by now, that’s exactly what is supposed to happen. The bolt is held back after firing the last round of a magazine by the bolt catch, the charging handle latches on to the front of the bolt carrier, but is not necessarily attached to it. So yes the bolt stays back and the handle can move back and forth
I set the woman’s rifle up with a good 1-6 LPVO and found the Warhammer by pure accident. It looked like it would work and was built solid. It ended up being so good that I run one in my suppressed AR-9. Nice piece!!
Is there a left handed version of this? **Edit**. I know this is an ambi charging handle but it is not left handed. As a left-handed shooter my face is on the right side of the firearm. I will get gassed in the face with the gas defector porting gas to the right side of the firearm. I'm curious to know how hard of a lift it would be for manufacturers to flip/mirror their tooling in order to create a charging handle that can port gas to the left hand side of of the firearm. This would be perfect for my MK12 clone that utilizes the Stag Arms LH upper.
Great content, but I have to speak my opinion and say, now that is more like it. finally a company (Breek Arms) not charging $50-$100 or more for an ambi charging handle, that is just as good as, if not better then a Raptor (from a company name I will not mention) and/or several others that are out there. and are outrageously priced, and all this goes for drop in Triggers as well, it all highway robbery.
Not a fan. They will break. Great company, customer service and warranty but it has been tested to fail against other brands that outlasted the Warhammer.
