You are a Godsend! My daughter has been wanting clothes for her Angels and Im an avid crocheter. Your instructions are just what I was hoping for. Thank you
I am an absolute crochet beginner but these are great - I ad-libbed and can confirm that if you’re patient and use embroidery floss and a 2.5mm hook, starting the shorts with a chain of 18, adding an extra sc row and otherwise following along as normal (though obviously joining at the 9th stitch instead of the 7th) works great, and the final shorts look super refined in a finer fibre. I think it’s proof of how clear your tutorial is that I am a complete beginner and was able to adapt what you made almost straight away! Thank you.
omg this is amazing! thank you so much! 💖and yes using thinner yarn and a smaller hook will definitely give you a more refined look! and yay to new crochet beginnings 🥰I bet your sonny angels looks adorable!
Would appreciate a much more detailed tutorial, I am a beginner and I was hoping to see how to do those different types of stitches. I got lost and keep ruining my clothes because it cuts into the finished piece 😅
Ahh yes I see, I did not include the basics as there are many videos out there that do teach you how to crochet, (I have a playlist of helpful videos for right handed and left handed on my channel). Crocheting sonny angel clothing is a more intermediate thing to crochet because of how tiny they have to be, the use of a small crochet hook and thin yarn. Definitely start with videos that teach you how to crochet first because majority of patterns do not teach you how to! 😄❤
hmm it would be tricky, you might have to use a thinner yarn and smaller hook size, and keep in mind that the gap/space between the body and arms is quiet small so if you do make sleeves it would have to be thin enough to fit that space. I have seen pictures of sonny angel crochet tops with sleeves before so I know it's possible, but I think some might just make the top where the "sleeves" just drape over the shoulder and don't go fully around the arms. This creates the illusion of having sleeves. hope this helps! 😄
Hello they are a Japanese collectible figure/doll, where I am there is a store that sells these but if you are not able to find them locally in your area try searching online! They are called Sonny Angels! hope this helps 😄
hmm I'm not sure what you mean, but @0:43 I go over the yarns I use and what I recommend, I use weight 3 (light) yarn and the ply (individual strands) varies between brands. Hope this helps! ❤

What ply of yarn did you use?

3mm yarn ok?
I think it should work! just see if your chain measures the same length as mine did or adjust your tension so it's the same! :D
