It’s the childlike dolls being the “little boyfriends” of 25 year olds for me. I’m so horrified to learn it’s a real thing. As for the rest, I could already tell Challengers was a weird af movie from the trailers so not surprised.
I had to laugh, my mother in law has probably 300 dollar store and thrift angels, they are on shelves almost exactly like this...the family jokes that her main floor is going to cave in and there are so many in her small place you have to walk sideways to come in and over to the living room or kitchen. Surprisingly she keeps all of them dusted and the shelves too
Sonny’s are basically Kewpie’s, but while Kewpie’s are gender non-specific, Sonny’s are all biologically male. (Well, as much as a cherub can have a biology.) I feel like they did that to escape copyright infringement. Kewpies are still being produced, but owned by a different company.
