Hi Rosie, congrats on your purchase. You can't go wrong with @kohler they are a solid brand and make good quality products. You won't have to worry with these faucets failing after a year or two, they should last you a lifetime!
Systems like that DO EXIST, however, they are almost exclusive to industrial & medical use (think eyewash stations, surgical scrub sinks, and dishwashing stations)
@@Baycitiesconstruction I've noticed that. It's very disappointing. If I could find a good DC switch, I could disconnect the touch sensor from the solenoid valve on my sink and replace it with the foot switch.
@@MrWhaatay indeed they do, but it's mostly their entry-level products... the high end stuff is sold at galleries like Fergusons, WDC, and Pacific Sales.
Kohler also sells artifact products I recently purchased one it was a bit pricey what’s your thought

I wish these smart faucets were using foot pedals as triggers instead of touch or motion detection. It would be hands-free and way more reliable.

There are some companies that specialize in ADA/Accessible design like this...
is every psrt of the kitchen faucet spout stainless steel or plastic
It's all-metal construction, with minor (interior) plastic components.
what do you think of kraus line?
low-tier brand, we try to stay away frrom anything sold at big box stores (like Home Depot or Lowes)
@@Baycitiesconstruction They sell Moen and Kohler.

@@Baycitiesconstruction can you review appaso. Apparently it's well known European brand. The 1 review I could find, stated it was better than moen.
Hi Stephanie - we'd love to, but it looks like they don't sell these in showrooms :(
thanks
Kohler has went from sugar to shit. Why do they keep changing. I know 90% of the plumbers that I have spoken to agrees.
I'll agree that some of their lines being sold at Home Depot & Lowes are just "so-so", but the high-end stuff sold at showrooms is top-notch.
