I'm really upset Jon left, I actually liked him on the show. I dont want another Bhanu vibe and I feel it could be similar with Andy. I hope this was a one time thing.
I really liked the extended episode time! My Survivor group doesn't draft until after the premiere, so having an extra 30 minutes to get to know the cast is immensely interesting and helpful.
Those beware advantage challenges are pretty over the top this season. The layers on layers that they provided. I have a hunch production wants players to use advantages, more aggressively and less defensively. And are punishing players that play more conservatively. In theory having an idol that only works for one tribal council kind of makes it impossible to play incorrectly and once that idol is on the beach, you can just find it with no real issues. In a perfect scenario, of course.
I had a pretty similar top 6! Excited for another szn of winner analysis guys! Love these videos, helped inspire me to make my own version. Here’s my top 6: 6.) Sam 5.) Kishan 4.) Sue 3.) Aysha 2.) Rachel 1.) Teeny
Lol, I felt really bad for my brother when he drafted Q last season and then Q kept making it... I'm getting a similar vibe from Andy, so I'm hoping my luck is like my brother's (since I drafted Andy too).
I don't know, plenty of winners or runner ups/last vote outs have been in similar boats as Rome, heck Tony was at one point a possible first vote out for his tribe in Cagayan, if not Trish, he could definitely recover and get himself another ally
my original picks to win were; Sol, Tiyanna, Kyle and Gen (Canadian). I feel like everyone in the community picked Aysha to win. I’m still rooting for her
journeys are the WORST part of the new seasons because they are so irrelevant , just 2 randoms every couple of episodes earning nothing and doing nothing
It seems they are trying to break patterns lately with winner predictions. Tevin introduced the season and ended up being the first or second person on the jury.
Outside of him and Kenzie(to a lesser extent) they didn't have good narrators on 46. Tevin is not Penner, but he did have a way with words and a beautiful voice. I guess they could have added more Bhanu sucking the show and Jeff off as the opening :)) This season Jon was by far the best narrator lets see who takes his place. Maybe Sam, the wolf?
You're definitely better off not playing too hard right away in the new era, there's so little room to work that you can easily over play your hand trying too hard to be too strategic right away and get marked as a threat because of it, way better off blending in with the group if you can afford to do so, or even better be a Sam/Solomon on a tribe full of smaller/weaker people so they feel like they can't vote you off if they wanna have any hope of winning challenges premerge, that's absolutely the most broken premerge meta build you can have in the 3 tribe format 😂
Based on what we’ve seen I would say Rachel is my winner pick despite her seemingly bad decision to keep Andy. She seemed like the voice of the people in this episode but since they went to tribal it’s hard to rely solely on that. Just a similar vibe to what Kenzie got last season episode one. Like comparing Kenzie talking about Jess ep 1 and Rachel talking about Andy. Also, echoing Mary’s sentiment on TK being overconfident, something I noticed while watching was during John’s mat chat he said something about how for over confident cocky players getting to see how they will actually play on survivor is exciting and immediately it cut to Gabe and TK. Based on that I think I would count them out as winners but look forward to their flame outs. Love the videos and podcasts 👍
If the editors try to avoid focusing too much on the winner at the start to focus more on the 'entertaining' Lulu 2.0, I think the top 3 in no particular order atm are Kishan, Kyle, and possibly Teeny. With Jon gone, the only person I could see snakeing their way to a win is Sam but that's a long shot. We know if Gata loses again, Andy is out unless he plays the idol (I legit think he's going to find it next episode). But even then, Lavo and Tuku are going to see that Andy was kept over Jon and they are going to be shocked and pissed off. Whether they think Andy is the liar or the rest of the tribe, idk.
Seeing the premier and how alliances are lining up, Sierra, Caroline and Aysha have the best shot at keeping threat level low enough to be the last of their alliances left standing and have enough of a social game to gain votes.
I have Kyle and Tianna in my draft for this season. I am curious how this season will play out. My only regret is realizing that the season started this week instead of next week like my mind thought, so I had little time to do my research. Dee and Kenzie were both picks of mine for the last two seasons so could get lucky, not sure. Man adulting sucks. lol
Aysha might have had a pretty good premier, but imo no one who is even moderately notable can win survivor. People just won't want to vote for someone "famous". It seems like people vote for players who they respect or remind them of themselves so in a way it's like they're winning. Then again, everyone in this season seems to be a media personality or writer so who knows
Sue's hopefully gonna be closer to a caroline 44 and not a carolyn 30. also, i know it didn't come up on the show but teeny is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns
The premiere feels very dull. A long time was spent on advantages leaving some of the characters not shown. We were doing great for 45 & 46 and It felt like we went back to the 41-44 with advantages on our faces.
I know you say you aren’t talking about secret scenes this episode and that you will talk about them next week, but I feel the need to point out that there is a secret scene that definitely shows Sue has no chance of winning.
Rachel number 1???? All of her content was about someone with all circumstantial Content(Andy)? Along with SAM getting his way on the turn, no women on the tribe got props for that, Sam should be top 1 tbh
I actually liked Jon on this way more than I thought. For a guy who everyone made fun of for being the last person on earth who should ever do something like this, he was smart, strategic & diplomatic. I'm more interested to see what happens to the remains of that team now that they fired their most intelligent & experienced person. I've seen this happen in business enough times, it's always a wild slide into chaos.
Favorites pre season, Sol and Sue. After ep1 I added Gabe as well, he seems messy, but the man came to leave his mark. Either win, or go out in a blaze of glory, its a once in a lifetime chance to be on tv, be memorable! In terms of winner picks, one of Sol, Kyle, Teeny. I will give myself ep2 as the limit and then whoever I pick I will see how well I do. Spoiler, I have a bad track record: Hatch, Yul, Tony, Tony are my only winners guessed right, I had Jess last season, lol and before I decided on her I was pondering Jelinsky
TK did something that could point to him winning: he *forged his own path* back to the beach rather than following the path
TK is getting voted out next week
@@generallukeproductionsnotttt
That's something he just did though, not something that was shown through editing

I think they made a mistake keeping Andy, and by the looks of the previews for next week, I think they'll see that
Bruce is at number 1 for me
1: Sierra
2: Rachel
3:TK
4: Teeny
5: Sam
6: Aisha
7: Sue
8: Caroline
9: Tijuana
10: Kishan
11: Kyle
12: Genevieve
13: Rome
14: Gabe
15: Anika
16: Sil
17: Andy
Rome not at 16 goes crazy
@@NathanBomber i mean 13-16 is so close it could really go any direction.
I hope Kyle goes further. He’s one of the likable ones.
Idk if it's just me but that photo of Kyle makes him look like Ian from Palau
I do love Sol and I'm truly hoping he's making a deep run in this game 🙏
Hearing your voice makes me so happy, Wesley!🎉

Really enjoyed this premiere, only complaint was the amount of people that got little screen time
1. Teeny
2. Sam
3. Sue
4. Rachel
5. Aysha
6. Sierra
Umm I’m sorry but did the see the confessionals from teeny and aysha? There were there the whole time! And sue was shown pretty often too

I joined the fantasy league yesterday! Y’all convinced me. My tribe is Swifties 4 Charlie 😂
Rebekah would approve.

I got Rome in my draft and it feels like a double edge sword. Yeah I'm going to get a lot of confessionals but Rome 100% feels like an early boot 💀

1. Rachel
2. Aysha
3. Teeny

5. Gabe
6. Kyle (Only because he was my pre-season winner pick)

At least they didn't lose the votes this time, or did I miss it? Losing votes is the worst mechanic in the history of the game.
Is it just me or does the blue tribe always seem the most boring

My money was on Caroline before the premiere and it’s still on Caroline.
Who are your top 3 players to win it all?
If the editors try to avoid focusing too much on the winner at the start to focus more on the 'entertaining' Lulu 2.0, I think the top 3 in no particular order atm are Kishan, Kyle, and possibly Teeny. If the conspiracy theory that Andy faked his overheating/anxiety attack turns out to be true, he will go back up slightly on my list.
Seeing the premier and how alliances are lining up, Sierra, Caroline and Aysha have the best shot at keeping threat level low enough to be the last of their alliances left standing and have enough of a social game to gain votes.

Five people with one confessional is wildly unbalanced, especially in a two-hour episode. Come on, editors.
Sue’s sob story is in the cut scene so I don’t get why she is that high on your list.
Good catch. If you listen to the podcast, we clarify that we did not watch the secret scenes yet because we hadn't found them.

There are several reasons why we will say several this season.
Feels like they went to a gay pride parade to cast for this season.. seems like they have gone massively soft also they NEED older players!!
So stupid
I’m pretty sure there’s only three gay people in this cast…doesn’t really seem that overbearing to me…
