One Minute Book Talk: Killing November by Adriana Mather

November has a loving relationship with her father and her aunt at the beginning of this story. When something happens to her aunt, she is wisked away to a private boarding school that is so secretive, none of the students even know where the school is. All of them seem to have names which are pseudonyms or give away something about their heritage. November's roommate does not seem very friendly and all the students act suspicious of one another, and try their best not to share any private information. It is a school for families that go into into a career which requires having espionage skills. November knows nothing about this world. She has to survive it, as well as learn years of information that her peers have had access to, and she needs desperately to play catch up on. Meanwhile students are dying, especially those in November's path.
