I just like science, as long as we look at it for what it is and not what we want it to be.
      Food for thought
Marine Biologist Dr. Rob Carter explains the four-dimensional genome and what the means for design. th-cam.com/video/Dii6Aor7nH4/w-d-xo.html
      The Programming of Life th-cam.com/video/00vBqYDBW5s/w-d-xo.html
As scientists began to decode the human DNA molecule, they found something quite unexpected-an exquisite ‘language’ composed of some 3 billion genetic letters. “One of the most extraordinary discoveries of the twentieth century,” says Dr. Stephen Meyer, director of the Center for Science and Culture at the Discovery Institute in Seattle, Wash., “was that DNA actually stores information-the detailed instructions for assembling proteins-in the form of a four-character digital code”
It is hard to fathom, but the amount of information in human DNA is roughly equivalent to 12 sets of The Encyclopaedia Britannica-an incredible 384 volumes” worth of detailed information that would fill 48 feet of library shelves!
Yet in their actual size-which is only two millionths of a millimeter thick-a teaspoon of DNA, according to molecular biologist Michael Denton, could contain all the information needed to build the proteins for all the species of organisms that have ever lived on the earth, and “there would still be enough room left for all the information in every book ever written” (Evolution: A Theory in Crisis, 1996, p. 334).
Who or what could miniaturize such information and place this enormous number of ‘letters’ in their proper sequence as a genetic instruction manual? Could evolution have gradually come up with a system like this?
This type of high-level information has been found to originate only from an intelligent source.
Let’s first consider some of the characteristics of this genetic ‘language.’ For it to be rightly called a language, it must contain the following elements: an alphabet or coding system, correct spelling, grammar (a proper arrangement of the words), meaning (semantics) and an intended purpose.
Scientists have found the genetic code has all of these key elements. “The coding regions of DNA,” explains Dr. Stephen Meyer, “have exactly the same relevant properties as a computer code or language”
The only types of communication considered high-level are human languages, artificial languages such as computer and Morse codes and the genetic code. No other communication system has been found to contain the basic characteristics of a language.
Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, commented that “DNA is like a software program, only much more complex than anything we’ve ever devised.”
For instance, a book such as Homer’s Iliad contains information, but is the physical book itself information? No, the materials of the book-the paper, ink and glue contain the contents, but they are only a means of transporting it.
If the information in the book was spoken aloud, written in chalk or electronically reproduced in a computer, the information does not suffer qualitatively from the means of transporting it. “In fact the content of the message,” says professor Phillip Johnson, “is independent of the physical makeup of the medium” (Defeating Darwinism by Opening Minds, 1997, p. 71).
The same principle is found in the genetic code. The DNA molecule carries the genetic language, but the language itself is independent of its carrier. The same genetic information can be written in a book, stored in a compact disk or sent over the Internet, and yet the quality or content of the message has not changed by changing the means of conveying it.
As George Williams puts it: “The gene is a package of information, not an object. The pattern of base pairs in a DNA molecule specifies the gene. But the DNA molecule is the medium, it’s not the message” (quoted by Johnson, p. 70).
So to believe that the genetic code gradually evolved in Darwinian style would break all the known rules of how matter, energy and the laws of nature work. In fact, there has not been found in nature any example of one information system inside the cell gradually evolving into another functional information program.
Michael Behe, a biochemist and professor at Pennsylvania’s Lehigh University, explains that genetic information is primarily an instruction manual and gives some examples.
He writes: “Consider a step-by-step list of [genetic] instructions. A mutation is a change in one of the lines of instructions. So instead of saying, “Take a ¼-inch nut,” a mutation might say, “Take a ⅜-inch nut.” Or instead of “Place the round peg in the round hole,” we might get “Place the round peg in the square hole” … What a mutation cannot do is change all the instructions in one step-say, [providing instructions] to build a fax machine instead of a radio” (Darwin’s Black Box, 1996, p. 41).

Direct observable evidence of an organism evolving to another is evidence. And anyone cans grasp these evolutionary explanations, but that doesn’t mean they are true. Scientist have found basics proteins in meteorites, and even Mars, that reside in you at this every moment. Scientist have determined that life was not sudden, I dont know why you make the use of monkeys sprouting a bad thing since thats what happened in the bible, and it look nearly a billion years from a single living cell to become a simple organism like fish, and half a billion years to get there to here. To put in into perspective how long these processes happened, by the time you are 32, you are a billion seconds old. So depending on what you vote for, you might end up with a hard cord creationist as vice-president or one that can't even spell potato (Dan Quayle). But it can get far worse: Italy got Berlusconi (not once, but four times) and in the last election even elected a comedian (by job, not by behavior), Germans thought that Hitler would be a nice guy and elected him, Venezuelans elected Chavez and Maduro to increase their average standard of living, Turkey went several times for Erdogan (who banned evolution from the school curriculum as being far too difficult to be understood by Turkish pupoils) and in the first free democratic election for ages, the Egyptian population decided to elect fundamentalist religious nut Morsi who of course quickly shut down democracy. Many creationists would say the fussion of our two chromosomes is not evidence for evolution however they do not fully understand the scientific method. The reason it is evidence is because it shows a biological nested hierarchy.
All hypotheses and theories must make predictions in which the hypothesis or theory can be falsified (disproven). Predictions are experiments and what all tests and evidence stems from. The theory of evolution predicts all biological systems will be arranged in a nested hierarchy.

      Hello. I'm no expert but
      1) The phrasing is wrong. Nothing is commonly referred to as the lack of anything. This is not the correct definition for 'nothing' in your sentence.
      2) Not everything 'decays'. Sand is formed from erosion of rocks but it is still seen as 'decaying'. But stars are from from many elements in space and the are not seen as decaying, rather as being born. So the answer to this argument is all based on wording.
      3) This is a strawman. Evolution is not the assertion that a human can create or build another human, it is just the result of multiple tests, experiments and observations over time.
As for Evolution being called a religion, it does not fit under it's definition. Nobody expects you to take it as the only truth, but you are taught about it because it has been proven as true. Just like history because it has been recorded and proven that it actually happened (even if not 100% accurately), like math because you can calculate it and use in the real world, and writing, because almost everybodyon Earth uses some form of writing.
I hope this helps clear some of the misconceptions about evolution 👍

Look silly boy...your God Hatred has absolutely nothing to do with this silly evolutionary lie!
ALL you have to do is EXACTLY what I challenged the maker of this video to do...provide ACTUAL EVIDENCE that a telomere translocation like this has EVER BEEN OBSERVED to change species or POSITIVELY increase information in an organism!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes....I LAUGH at your brainless FAITH!!! If it was about UNASSUMED SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE that we have EVER OBSERVED...you could provide the PROOF. The reason you CAN'T provide EVIDENCE is because that FANTASY he spoke of...well it has NEVER OCCURRED in the history of OBSERVATIONAL SCIENCE...yet by BLIND IGNORANT FAITH...you BELIEVE anyways???? DESPITE the EVIDENCE!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What a moronic way to address EVIDENCE!!! Oh...and did I mention that SCIENTISTS ALREADY KNOW AND WE HAVE OBSERVATIONAL EVIDENCE that our genomes ARE NOT even close to 98%...or 95%...or 90% similar to a chimpanzee???? Did you know that:
"About 30 percent of all human proteins are identical in sequence to the corresponding chimp protein."...according to the chimpanzee genome project on wikipedia. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
And notice how CONVENIENTLY leave out the part where MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF CODE WERE....
      IGNORED!!!
Did you catch that silly boy? IGNORED because....because....because.... even the brightest scientists have emotional needs and BIASES. You share an emotional neediness for a Godless universe. That's why you're here...to BOLSTER your FAITH...in a FANTASY!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
By all means...please tell us all...what the PERCENTAGE alike our genomes are similar to a Chimpanzee when we DON'T IGNORE ANY OF THE ACTUAL EVIDENCE?????????????
You've been PLAYED!!! You have been a SUCKER...a BIASED CYNIC...not a "skeptic" as you parade your silly FAITH AROUND as "SCIENCE"!!!! It isn't. It is being WILLFULLY IGNORANT!!!! CONGRATULATIONS on your OBVIOUS emotional hatred of God driving you to parrot such ridiculous drivel!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now watch folks as he CAN'T PROVIDE EVIDENCE of GENOMIC similarity without "FORGETTING"...OOPS...or ACTUALLY IGNORING the ACTUAL EVIDENCE of the DNA CODE!!! HAHAHAHA!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The maker of this video praised all his parrots....yet IGNORED my challenge of RRADILY AVAILABLE INFORMATION because he KNOWS this FANTASY never ACTUALLY happened!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You people are such idiots to accept by FAITH alone....without an ounce of skepticism!!!!! It proves how BIASED you are!!! Silly boy! Lol.

In live near the countryside and spend my time in a wood. I always feel more related to animals than humans. I can stay all day until night int the wood, finding water, running and resting under a tree, I can find the north, I can say what hour it is by looking at the sky. I observe how nature changes with seasons and animals' behaviour. Trying to integrate. And I feel something sacred in it. A big conection to everything. And wild animals seem to have accepted my presence there. They are even curious when I am training. Not the same in cities with humans and theirs problems. They seem detached from reality and have a huge bunch of problems due to worl, social issues, predominance, power, politics... I always felt more like an animal, I know it sounds weird. So happy that my genes tell a different story humans are used to. We are part of everything

I'm not a creationist, but all this video does is point out the very obvious and undeniable genetics we share, then applies an unbacked hypothesis that this must mean we have a common ancestor. This is done frequently and is a type of God-of-the-gaps argument. You take a bunch of well-known, indisputable data, then apply a baseless or at least extremely weak theory to fill in the gaps. The evidence for evolution is overwhelming, the evidence for a common ancestor for chimps and humans is pathetic.

On the contrary, our complex DNA proves evolution is nothing but a fairytale. You see, for one type of animal to morph into another requires the infusion of new information. The addition of a tail, a wing, a leg - all these need new information just like a computer program needs new codes to perform new tasks. Mutation rearranges or losses information but it never adds new ones so how does an organism evolve into a different kind with mutation? The creation of new information requires a mind and careful planning just like creating a new program to run on a computer. You don't get a car, a ship or an airplane out of random mutation. You get them from an intelligent designer.

There are many examples of mutations adding information. This has been a long held lie by creationists. For example can you explain how gene duplication cannot add information? We have seen genes duplicate then over time those new duplicated genes will undergo mutations f there own separate from the genes they came from thereby creating new protiens and features. So how is gene duplication (a mutation) not adding information?

Most of the comments I see from creationists in this comment section is attacking abiogenesis, not evolution. This shows a deep misunderstanding of the theory of evolution.
Don't confuse evolution with abiogenesis. The theory of evolution only explains that we are all related and come from a common ancestor. The theory does not explain how that first living organism came about.
So anyone who claims that DNA can't make itself therefore evolution can't be true is making a strawman argument.

    • @ephesianarmorytchannel6838
      @ephesianarmorytchannel6838 3 ปีที่แล้ว

You're wrong. Abiogenesis is the start. Before that first life Evolved, it needed to form. You like to duck what is known by Evolutionists to be the greatest problem they have. Race cars without crossing the starting line. We could get in to how Richard Lenski's bacteria experiment shows how we would still be bacteria, given that 70,000 generations of e coli are still that, but we don't have to talk about how all we ever observe is things reproducing after themselves. If you don't need to have a start then you don't have a life form, so nothing can Evolve. Tell me this, do you think if abiogenesis was discovered in a lab, chemicals to straight up life via explosion, that it would be put at the beginning of every Evolution chapter? Cause it's the start, and they dang near do this with Urey Miller, which is just amino acids, not even life, just something used by life.

Linean Taxonomy perhaps is one good illustration of how evolution works. The grouping of organisms prove how organisms share common ancestors. Like for example, sharks/class chondrichthies, dunkleosteus/placodermi and tuna/class ostheichthies shares a common gnathostomata/jawed fish ancestor. Those 3 fish groups were separated from hagfishes and lampreys/class agnatha because they do not have bone and yet, they all share a common ancestor which is a creature with hard backbone/subphylum vertebrata.

Many proteins look around for errors by comparing it with a template and when something is wrong they cut it out and/or replaces it. But that has its fails too... it can even change the template!

@@alexandredube141 "micro adaptations, not macro adaptations." Evolution is micro adaptations, not macro adaptations? Could you clarify?
"Like you have people with different skin tones ect. But nowhere in your DNA can you prove how the human eye came to be." While not every piece of life's puzzle has been found, we are steadily filling in the empty spaces as we discover more evidence. The eye most likely began with relatively rudimentary photoreceptors, which can be found even in single-celled organisms. These light-sensitive organelles proved useful for organisms that depended on the Sun for their metabolism. Over time, the photoreceptors became more complex. We actually have found a gene called PAX6 that helps determine how or if eyes are expressed. When it was altered in a mouse embryo, for instance, the mouse did not develop eyes at all.
"Evolution is stating we all came from unicellular life forms who got more and more complex." That's not exactly what evolution itself is, but that is the most likely conclusion based on the evidence.
"Adaptation is about adjusting to your environment but never does it claim to have creatures grow fins" I'll just cut to the chase and tell you the definition of biological evolution: it is the change in allele frequencies in a population of organisms over successive generations.
      So adaptation actually is evolution.

Or possibly this is all evidence that a creator used a similar process in creating all things. Like how many or all of an authors books have a familiar ring to them. Or how one can usually identify the work of an artist by observing familiar traits.
I've studied much evolution and creation and in the story of DNA I find it very difficult if not impossible to imagine how so much detailed information contained within each strand could've been arranged through natural mechanical processes.

@@miri8851 You're right it doesn't. All I'm saying is I've given very serious attention to both sides of this debate and the more I learn the harder it is for me to believe someone or something didn't create it. And as being more of a mathematician than anything else I always wind up getting stuck on the probabilities which are insurmountable.

    • @NoMementoMori

@@michaelheberger3075 there is no "both sides of this debate". Thats the delusion creationists try to create, the "debate" (if there ever was one) has long been settled. But since you seem to be a conspiracy theorist generally i dont doubt you only inform yourself so far that it matches your worldview of it being "illogical".
As a "mathematician" you should know that given enough time and chances even the smallest of chances eventually reaches a propablity of ~100%. Seeing that our universe is for all intents and purpuses basically infinite, propability is absolutely no problem.
Also you're creating the same problem every creationist creates:
"Evoltion needs a designer, its too complex"
"Well then who did design the designer, given he is even more complex"
"The designer doesnt need a designer, hes an exception"
Well then your DNA can be an exception just as well.
Also evolution didnt just "pop DNA into existence" like magic, i really doubt you informed yourself. Seeing your View history i am not surprised.

@@NoMementoMori Throwing unfounded accusations seriously dilutes your credibility. It seems your issue here is personal because almost none of your response applies to me. Being skeptical in no way makes a person even remotely conspiratorial. There's a growing number of highly educated non religious scientists who have begun to doubt natural selection. Try mocking them see where that gets ya.
