- Get the latest on federal marijuana enforcement, cannabis rescheduling, and the political battles shaping U.S. marijuana policy in this breaking news update. First, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is urging Elon Musk, who chairs the Trump administration’s newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), to cut “unnecessary” federal cannabis enforcement-potentially saving taxpayers billions of dollars. Next, discover why 96% of marijuana consumers say the DEA is “biased” against the Biden administration’s proposal to move cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III, according to a revealing new poll. Finally, we’ll examine controversial comments from Derek Maltz, the Trump administration’s new acting DEA chief, who claims marijuana is a ‘gateway drug’ that leads to psychosis and other mental health issues.
We’ll break down how Warren’s recommendations could shift spending priorities away from cannabis raids and arrests, why the DEA’s trust issue might undermine the rescheduling process, and whether the agency’s leadership under Maltz signals a return to prohibitionist policies. Are we on the verge of a historic policy change-or is the federal government doubling down on outdated drug war rhetoric? Join us for an in-depth discussion on the politics, economics, and public sentiment driving the marijuana reform debate.

Excellent to hear guap quote his dads words…..another great show thankyou..john and laura
Gracias amigos
Had to work through most of the show and am going back for a second watch - commenting out of love
Ever grateful for you guys. Keep up the good work
trump has already made his stance on weed clear his 1st term, and reiterated the stance not long ago...he believes in the medicinal properties but like abortion, he thinks it shouldn't be a federal mandate, it should be up to each state...thats not going to help weed markets...not going to hurt them either, but i wouldn't count on anything substantial
Comment at the end, "Love you dad, miss you", made my day and made my eyes watery, not too many people give a shout out to their dad👍👍👍
Thanks. Just lost him so it's still really fresh. That was my tribute.
Guap, your dad was a wise man. We need more like him.
There are certain government agencies like the DEA if their funds were cut it would show that the policies they follow are working. Needing more money every year to continue fighting drugs shows they are not working.
Bingo
Unfortunately medical in Kentucky is going to be slow out of the gate. Too many restrictions to get a card currently.
I agree!! Omar and AOE are playing politics!!! This is a bad sign and I hope it won't be a distraction! If they really cared they should have said that at biden's time!
Why is Sinaloa Sabet (SAM) enabling the Mexican cartels to sell their marijuana in our country. Our entrepreneurs and small business owners in the United States would like to know
In NM Rec is legal but for Indigenous Reservations it’s is under Federal Law so we’re not free to home grow.
Howard Lutnick would be a great root to trumps ear on cannabis reform to lobby in my opinion.
Warren is part of the problem, all talk no action. Get the bills to congress and identify all the people and what excuse they use for not getting MJ done. Then we can vote for people who will get this done. I'm tired of politicians slow walking every issue, do something or get out.
Thanks for sharing! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have 12 words: iron observe slam major mad decorate feed photo awesome vast kitchen faint. What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Trump says states rights on every issue. 37 states with medical.... Time for Trump to step in and say states rights on mmj
The "gift" shops in DC are interesting.
DEA will still have to pursue illegal mmj market for this sector to bloom.
Did it again. Google thin skinned little censors. What a joke

Anthony you said a very ignorant statement. Your telling AOC to shut up, because she is a Democrat, but she is telling the truth, Why don't you call out the problem for this industry. Republican
No one is going to listen to Warren
