weird to hear dispatch conduct par checks everywhere i have seen that is usually the chief or command officer and that woman dispatcher needs to chill a bit.
Fire depts are families. She's probably worried about her friends & relatives on the job, which is understandable. Many depts have dispatch run the roster after an evacuation order. The IC has enough duties when there isn't a staffed mobile command post.
Two TLs yes but 70-75 footers would be fine. You don't need 95-100 footers until the building is over five stories unless there's considerable setback which isn't present here. NFD has one TL, Tower Ladder Co 6 but it's not visible here. The problem is one TL isn't much use unless it's part of the initial alarm assignment since it's very difficult to position any big trucks close enough once operations are in progress. FDNY is very good at this but they often have huge numbers of FFs present on scene. My hometown uses nothing but TLs for their truck companies.
OMG...two TLS is sophinity?🤣🤣 70/75 no way? No PROBLEM NEVER say that i DONT NEED ur comments to control my feelings U Will hv this comments forever from ur 😢 I give u a HELL
Typical cops, stand around do nothing then all of a sudden bark out a few orders to the bystanders then go back to what they were doing. Hands in pockets.
Pointless criticism is so helpful. People get mad when police aren't around in an emergency & mad when they are present for crowd & traffic mgmt. Much of police work is hurry up & wait. Seems familiar somehow. I support all public service & emergency workers. Thank God someone is still wiling & able to do the work.
This isn't Brain Surgery guys! You open a small hole in the ceiling in the center of the building and in front of some windows on the downwind side and fog the attic. When you have knocked down most of the fire, open more ceiling areas to check for fire. 6:40 This is brilliant, but it is USA fireplaying. Fountain Statues and all!
@@gigla3 This is the same 🤡 who believes attic fires can be put out by cutting a small hole in an exterior wall on the first floor, then shoot water up inside the wall where it will "explode into the attic and put out the fire in seconds" 😆😅😂🤣

could definitely benefit from a few aerial master streams you would think a city with that many tall structures would have several

If those towers had remote control, the operator could get a better viewpoint.

That's a bad roaster...my gawd!!!!
Great footage I hope they can rebuild.
they're trying to squirt the fires out
great video
wow it caught back on fire 😧
They didn't put any water on the burning stuff. They just washed the walls and soaked the street. The burning material was untouched by water.

How about getting someone to man the ladder they do have...

Check out the comments in part 1. Enough keyboard chiefs present to fully staff FDNY
They don't have tower ladders in Newark? Did Tony Soprano steel the money for them?
Part 3 coming up?
There Ladder Trucks Are Useless IMO. Newark Has a great Fire Department but it could use Prepipe ladders
And new leadership.
