    I’m lucky enough to own both of these phones and while I mostly agree with what he states especially how beautiful and futuristic these phones look, I have to disagree on the battery life thing. I don’t know if it’s just because I got the 12 pro max today but it honestly seems like I get better battery life on my ultra. And as far as displays go i honestly think Samsung takes the crown on that one. I’ve watched almost very review by Aaron and I’ve never seen what I saw about halfway through this video which kinda bugged me. When he’s doing the speed test and the note 20 ultra is noticeably faster he pauses then tries to make an excuse why that happened. Now I do reviews and am not nearly as big as zollotech but I’ve never been biased in my videos. I didn’t like Apple until the XS Max then my opinion changed now I love both of them. Neither is better than the other overall because each phone does something better in each catagory. Other than that great video. Thanks for the honesty.

Yes the 12pm is a bit brighter (very welcome because the 7p is difficult to see in strong sunlight when taking photos). Side-by-Side, you can tell that the 12pm has slightly warmer tones. • @betterleper714
      @betterleper714 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The A14 is actually faster in both those categories, but it starts to struggle after some time due to throttling since it’s not as good as the Note 20 Ultra for long durations of gaming. A14 is undeniably faster in loading games and in audio/video production; just not so much for 3-5hrs continuous gaming ( high end games like Genshin Impact ). Note 20 Ultra is much better overall in gaming while the iPhone is better in productivity, with the cameras they are pretty much tied ( except for the videography since iPhone is better ). I've bought into the Apple ecosystem. Though I'm not totally reliant on it. I could easily switch back to Android and not miss a beat. What got me into Apple devices a few years ago was the reputation of "It just works". Unfortunately, and this is just my opinion, is that Apple has fallen flat on delivering a near-flawless experience. I've participated in many of the beta releases over the last 2+ years. It's good to see many things get fixed. Yet I can't help to feel disappointed that some fundamental features of a smartphone continue to be plagued by the same issues over and over again. When on a public release update, I should not have UI stuttering or freezing. Keyboard should never be slow. These are basic and it's a mystery why, with so many years of experience and software development, these problems persist. Build quality has always be admirable. Not necessarily the best, but always the top 3 phones made every year. I wish they would just spend an entire year refining and truly fixing issues. The every other year of iOS that gets mentioned as years when they focus on software quality, I feel is not necessarily happening.

    Planning switching to 12 Pro Max from Galaxy Note 10 Plus as my first ever iPhone 🙂 ... skipping S21 Ultra ...
    Sacrifice: Vanced TH-cam, Cinema HD, Gboard voice typing, 'go back' navigation, pulling down notification panel, comprehensive file manager etc ...😥
    Looking forward to: reliable day to day photos and videos, genuine clean os, 5 years of software support, sturdy build with flat screen and steel frame (hate curved screen 😤)
    I prefer: battery over 120hz, ease of use over customisations, consistent camera over zooom & fun features.
    But still I fear being enslaved by IOS ☹️

    If you understand the S-Pen no other phone will do

    So I got the note 20 ultra and I have to say, if the s21 and beyond are as good as this, I will never touch an apple phone again

    I have tried both for a game called genshin impact and the iPhone heats up like a oven and brightness goes all the way down and the note seems to keep its cool
