  • We had the pleasure of hanging out with one of our longtime friends! The 2022 Porsche Spyder. This is an amazing car to review, and we view it as one of the greatest GT cars that Porsche has ever made! Come along with us as we dive into carbon bucket seats, loud exhaust, and a top that is easier than it looks to take down and put up!

Fun review! 23 Spyder owner here, it rips and top is kinda a process but only takes me about 20 seconds.
110% a GT division car and it shows. Also one of only a few (CGT, Speedster, Spyder) open top GT division cars.

I have an awesome 2021 Spyder, best Porsche I’ve ever owned. Top is cool and easy after 2-3 times. Keep it up!

For the roof, press an hold 'unlock' on the key... that shortens the roof down experience, and when it's time to close, it, once the roof is hovering over the windscreen, press and hold 'lock' on the key to shorten that process too....also best to put the buttress flaps in place before closing the deck...

I loved my 718 Spyder so, so much. What an incredible car and thereafter drove the 981 and 987 gen as well. The Spyder nameplate is serious business and the 718 gen GT traits are noticeable and present. I ended up selling my 718 Spyder to get into a 992 TTS…and it just wasn’t the same. I was in market looking for my perfect 718 Spyder spec…but got lucky (sold some feet pics) and have a Spyder RS arriving this October.
What an incredible nameplate…I turn my head so hard for any 987/981/718 Spyder vs 911 meh. To owners out there DONT SELLLLLL….try to keep it. I am still looking for one in manual as the RS is pdk.
