Absolutely amazing videos in these dry battlefield times. Thank you for making these.
I always am reminded about how underrated your channel is with these videos
Much Appreciated!
Chinatown’s remaster is Hardline is so underrated and under appreciated
They needed to have around 2 additional path ways in the middle, basically intense door 2 door, room 2 room CQC fighting for people who disliked the mid-point meat grind...
Oh man, this was my first Battlefield map I played, shorty after BF3 came out, good memories...
I miss Battlefield 1942's BF: Pirates :(
Long overdue video on a classic map, wonder if Seine Crossing is gonna make the Best Maps list as well 🔥🔥🔥
In a perfect world, both Paris maps would be one. Seine Crossing above ground and Metro below.
hey @GravityBFTV will you consider covering solomon islands & rotterdam on the worst/best maps videos , also great quality as always keep up the good work🔥
Yes. :)
Rush has always been my favorite game mode in Battlefield. The best maps were in Bad Company, BF3, & BF 4.
Ah, the number of times you had to flank up Banana 😊
Why do I have the feeling that this is the closest thing to a Hardline map that we're ever going to see on either series?
You might get the answer to that sooner than you think :)
I hope in next episode you talk about gulmod railway
YES! YES! YEEEES!
Let's go
Good video but I disagree being the best map (very flawed). The most apt description of the map is super flawed, at 7 minutes onward. For instance you suggest the map could've had improvements like extra routes, better spawn cover which suggests. I mean personally the changes you mentioned would've drastically changed it. And Chinatown being 'better' shows why it's not even a good map originally (not horribly bad, very flawed more apt) with Hardline's less explosives avaliable makes it much better to play on.
It's a great breakdown but I get the impression of cognitive dissoance (not you specifcally) of why supposedly it's a "great map". Sure Hardline Chinatown and BF3 Rush was great on it but it's a very bad example being an all time great TBVH. I really think BF3's gameplay and launch maps where not that good and is remembered through a generation of players whose first games where built in the PS360 era of game design of "Press X for Awesome" of the late 00s/early 10s.
As a conquest map, Amiens, Prise De Tahure & Devastation are far better smaller urban maps with a lot of pathing and does what Grand Bazaar did but much more better.
I am very pleased to se you have that opinion, because you are absolutely right. Like I said, it was flawed and barely made it in. Truthfully, there is a bit of a compromise here, as there is another famous BF3 map that I am going to annihilate, and felt of the two, this was the far better design.
@@GravityBFTV I think you should retitle the title because a lot of people will just share the title without watching the video.
I think maybe a "flawed maps" is better? I think every map being "worst" or "best" is not useful.
@@Dangerman-zg3ui There will be a "Mid-Tier" Maps series in the future. Think of Bazaar succeeding in this case due to the strength of its smaller game modes. I agree that this one is controversial, bordering on a mistake on my part, but I dont plan on pushing a map like this in the future.
What about playing some chillin‘ matches of bf3? I‘d be up for it. maybe With venice unleashed??
this map was dogshit, sorry. Was purely just grenade spam, dying and getting revived over and over
Not dog-shit but super flawed is better to describe it. BF3 maps and gameplay design was a big mess covered by "press X for awesome" gamplay design that plagued PS360 era of gaming that BF switched to with BF3 and onwards.
I rarely disagree with you but this map is mediocore at best.
You are absolutely right. Unfortunately this one didnt come out as I intended, and I was trying to rush it before a long vacation. In hindsight, the video should have focused almost exclusively on Chinatown, and only made mention of Grand Bazaar, which sits far more accurately in a mid-tier pool.
Your voice and cadence is great! Keep it up!
