    THANK YOU! This video was a life saver. I could not figure out why it was still showing i had used storage. I was about to just get the 1TB upgrade. Super shady of Adobe. A good tip too, if you use LR Mobile, turn off AUTO IMPORT in your setting. it will take EVERY photo from you phone, yes all of them, and sync it with the cloud.

    Thank You Mike! Way better than Adobe help center!!! Thanks a million! Took me a few hours for nothing until YT search brought your video along. Same as others , closing my thoughts of going over 1T, avoid it thanks to your tutorial.I assume that will be other ways to lead us on getting more space than make our life difficult on finding easy solutions.
    The least that I could do is adding myself to the 10.6K subscribers!!! Brilliant!

    Thanks, I work for a college and we get Adobe cc for free (enterprise account). I have two profiles, personal and school. For some reason, I can only access the personal side to delete files. They are both my accounts with all personal files and projects but I still can’t access the 100gb that are on the school side to purge it. I have signed out and when I sign back in I see the two profiles but no matter which I chose it takes me to the personal. Any idea?

      Lightroom has photos is usually the cause of this. All photos in Lightroom take up space too.

    Ugh. I just paid for extra storage today bc I couldn’t figure this out. If I manually delete the photos in my LR mobile app, the photos still exist in iPhoto and iCloud as well, correct? I don’t need my iPhone photos syncing to adobe cloud and hogging up storage space bc I use LrC for processing files on my desktop taken from my actual camera, not my phone. Guess I’ll be canceling that TB upgrade!

      It just means you have to actually delete first. My instructions are for after you delete. Some common areas that you may forget typically include if you use the Lightroom CC (vs classic). All those files sync and take up your cloud space.

      @@MikeMu thanks for video Mike. Don't like how Adobe is handling this.. So if one use the Lightroom (not Classic), then there is no way to turn of sync to the cloud? So every time you upload photos to Lightroom then you are using up cloud space? If "yes" then I really don't like it! Should be a way to do handle all the photos locally, or at least choose what photos you want to synch to the cloud...

    • @MikeMu
      @MikeMu  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@L_E_A Yes, that's right. Lightroom works in the 'cloud' on their servers. So, it synchs the photos onto Adobe servers, which then takes up space. The only way around not taking up space, is to use Lightroom Classic right now.

    I have 12.5gB of 20 used up, and went through all the steps here just to check out the process. I only had eight or nine images that could be deleted, and once I did that I never gained any meaningful storage back. What is it that is taking up 12.5gB of cloud storage? I use Apple devices and iCloud as well as Google Photos. I'm just wondering what it is that Adobe is backing up to the cloud and how I clean that up? As for the "shadiness" of making it difficult to figure out how to delete stuff, I notice that Adobe sure made the "Upgrade your storage" button very prominent.

    • @JJJJ-gl2uf
