Guys stop. He isn't our slave or something that he has to produce videos for us. He is our teacher. Stop treating him like he would do nothing for us. He has his reasons for not uploading. And you should be thankful for all the things he has done for you guys. He does it whenever he can. You should feel embarrassed by the comments you writing under this video. I've been living in a number of English-speaking countries for nearly a decade; and you are the best British pronunciation teacher (who has really charming southern England accent at the same time) I've seen so far!
“America is everywhere” so truee😂 But seriously though, in my circle ( I’m living in Malaysia) mostly people would speak w American accent & that sometimes caused me to just follow the conversation eventhough I want to speak in British accent. This video helps me so much, especially that “whatever” word as I always get confused😁 Thank you!❤️
It really helped me so much. Thank you because I didn't know how to pronounce this "t" sound as British people usually do. Now I think I can do it as well, but I'll have to put it on practice when reading.
Thank you again Elliot ❤ I love your lessons and they help me A LOT, mainly the tips to improve the accent, I really really love the British accent and I've been improving thanks to you ❤ (Oh and do not leave us like that again I've missed you :'v)
Oh mate. It'll help me a lot to improve my British accent. So, I'd like to share a fact with you. A couple of weeks ago, a native speaker told me that I tried to imitate British people , speaking like them. I felt down at that time , but That's the best way which I've found to learn more and more . Thanks for you lessons!!!!
Love love loved this, my english had been Americanized after coming back to Pakistan being schooled in the UK, this was a little piece of that marvelous way of discourse I naturally learned.
I noticed just " r " sound but now knew new word " t " sound from you. That's the second word I heard from accent learning. THANK YOU SO MUCH Sir . Sincerely, Tayto from Myanmar
Hi Elliot..I.always be proud of you especially all of your awesome videos..Tip up a good work!..I am from Malaysia but missed UK so much..Cardiff forever in my HEART
I’m in love with ur accent the reason why I keep watching ur videos, I’ve been learning so much from it and I’m so grateful , thank u , please keep uploading I can’t wait for ur next video, kisses all the way from where I live💕
How nice to see you again Elliott! 😃 Thanks so much for your video lesson. For the phonetics of my native language I think the pronunciation of the T is spontaneously "British"... it would be unnatural for me to "turn it" in American T/D sound 🙋
hi elliot. i really love your accent and lessons. i teach english to some pupils in Fukushima, japan. some of them like britsh english. so i always suggest them to watch your youtube channel and take your lessons. cheers mate xx
Thank you so much. I've learned British English once in Soviet time, perhaps not from the best teacher, and I often dont know, what is right and what is wrong. My teachers taught us British "t". I have heared it so rarely from TV and TH-cam, that I have started to think, it is wrong to pronounce it. People who speak English, pronounce American "t" ("tt") or skip it. Only some persons from English nobility have the pronunciation that resembles my schooldays.
Hi elliot..thank u so much i've been know nothing about English language and know because of u i am good in English im a medical student and u help me so much thank u soooo muchh we like u ..u r brilliant guy Fulla/Iraq😍😍😍
Your videos are very informative and helpful for an every no native speaker of Britsh English. I teach English in the preschool and of course correct pronunciation in Polish. In my opinion for many learners out there it will be easier to hear only correct form (it works better with kids). Maybe this is something to consider?
Thank you Elliot, for all the lessons especially the tongue placement when it comes to pronunciation. British English is quite challenging as I learned American English with my native dialect accent, people find it difficult to understand me here in London. You make it manageable and easy to understand with your lessons. You truly have a knack for teaching. All the very best to you. Cheers.
Your video is really meaningful to me cause i have got trouble with t sound for a long time . I love your pronunciation so i think i will learn british accent. I will always support you to do more videos like this . Thanks for your hardwork!

Hi, Elliott. Love the videos. Learning so much from them. I grew up speaking American English and one thing that baffles me with British pronunciation is when to use the "ah" sound for "a" as in "ask," "past," and "bath," or the short-"a" sound in "apple" or "bag." Hope you can point out when to use either. Cheers.
I don't why but i'm fucking hooked with the british accent .I find it much more neat or elegant comparing to the american one. I wish one day i could speak more or less like you dude. I'm trying to do my best haha...Greetings from Argentina
Hi your videos really help me with my pronunciation. Have you ever done a video about the difference between /ɒ/ and /ɔː/ ? They're really confusing for me. And also /uː/ and /ʊ/, /æ/ and /ɑ:/ 😔😔😄😄
Hiya there great Elliot! Cheers from Sebashtian. As clear as water, as usual. Don't pay attention to those who complain. If they want more lessons, they must pay for 'em.
I always found the American/Australian alveolar flap T interesting because when I hear the sound I always think to myself "isn't that the Spanish soft R sound" especially since it's a common sound in Spanish and most Slavic and Romance languages.

As I am used to the US accent, I will definitely keep on pronouncing the American tap T (or as they call it, "flap T"), so excuse me here Elliott. Your videos are amazing and helpful, thank you!
All my life, I have always identified the TR sound as the CHR sound. Examples include TRUCK. CHRUCK. If you know what to look for in the sound, you can hear the difference. Other examples include, CHARLIE BROWN. TROLLEY BROWN. They sound the same when you pronounce them and practically undetectable.
As far as I know, Irish people tend to pronounce more like American when it comes to this phoneme, and maybe others too. Besides, I've heard some English celebrities pronouncing some words like /ˈsɝː.tən/ or /ˈlɪt̬.əl/. What's your opinion about this?
