I love these for classics however, everyone I have seen misses one thing I use a lot, "fresh outside air" intake. But, basically only re-circulation, cant have it all.
That's so true! You can usually retain the driver's kickpanel vent, but so many kits make you lose the passenger fresh-air vent. We'll often modify the install, drill the RH upper kickpanel area, and retain the vent!
I'm in the process of installing a gen 5 system in my 71 Camaro and in my opinion the instructions are not very good. They are vague and the pictures are not very helpful at all.
@ My car was on a rotisserie not too long ago and I put all of that back together myself so obviously I’m not going to give up. Better instructions with clear pictures would be helpful though
