Few Corrections:
1. You did not mention about one of the worst possible Genocides of human kind on 25 March 1971 led by Pak Army named as "Operation Searchlight".
2. You did not mention about the 26 March 1971 declaration of Independent Bangladesh and the declaration of Independence War of Bangladesh.
3. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was arrested on 26 March 1971 which you did not mentioned and he was in jail till the independence of Bangladesh.
4. Mukti Bahini/ Mukti Fauj whatever you say were formed after the 26 March independence declaration followed by the Operation Searchlight & genocide. But the way you narrated it seems that Mukti bahini was formed earlier and so after that Pak Army were deployed. Absolutely wrong. Pak Army deployed on 25 March 1971. Mukti bahini was formed later on. Moreover, India joined the war and deployed their forces on the December of 1971. Even, Till the May-June 1971 people undergo military training on various camps located in the border areas of India--Bangladesh.
You are Wrong about Indian Army deployment in December, they started fighting East Pakistan towards 3rd week of November. Please research properly.

Being a sister from Bangladesh, I truly appreciate your attempt to reveal the truth brother. Please add the story of 25th March, 1971 night too. Thousands of Bengalis were killed brutally at that night by Pakistan Military ordered by Yahya Khan and Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was arrested. The project of 'killing Bengali mass people' were named/coded as 'Operation Search Light'.
Also the then West Pakistan Army was not saving Pakistan, they were killing the majority of Pakistan (i.e.,Bengalis), torturing and raping thousands of women in their camps. Bengalis were in no mood to kill Pakistan Army people, but after 25th March, 1971... Bangalis have started fighting against Pakistan Army with weapons only to save their own lives and their women. Obviously, these news were not broadcast to West Pakistan then. Few people of West Pakistan were aware of it as they had their relatives in East Pakistan. Many people in East Pakistan didn't leave the country and felt safe thinking that their Muslim brothers (Pakistan Military) won't kill them. 25th March, 1971 is an inevitable date to mention, as that planned mass assassination is the motivation for Bengalis Liberation War. Also, Bengali's independence (independence of Bangladesh) was announced on that night after 12 p.m. by Bangabandhu (Friend of Bengal) Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Not all of this video is based on the facts. It is true that Yahya and Bhutto were mainly responsible for the breakup of Pakistan. Pakistani Army launched a military crackdown on 25th March 1971 when there was no Mukti-Bahini, which was formed as a reaction to the atrocities by the Pakistan Army. Pak army failed to crush Mukti Bahini which was controlling the border areas of East Pakistan. Muktis were using Guerrilla warfare tactics to inflict damage and limit free movement for the Pakistani troops. Multi-Bahini also became a formidable force and some groups were operating in Dhaka itself. "Bangladesh Revolutionary Govt." was formed in April 1971 supported by India. India did not intervene before Pakistan bombed the Indian territories in the western border in December 1971. Then Indian troops pushed their way towards Dhaka with the help of the Mukti Bahini which held up the Pakistani forces in the long term battles. When it was decided, Pakistani troops insisted on surrendering to India fearing retaliation by the Mukti Bahini.

On 25 March 1971, suddenly Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was taken to West Pakistan jail as a captive and General Tikka Khan was made the governor in charge of East Pakistan. At midnight of 25 March, suddenly Pakistan Army came down in the streets of the city Dhaka and started to kill civil people who were not at all aware of this kind of military invasion. This genocide was a direct order from General Tikka Khan. After this massacre, M.A Hannan declared the independence of Bangladesh on behalf of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Because Mujibur Rahman gave this message to some leaders of Awami League via wireless just before he was made captive. The next day Major Ziaur Rahman, a Bengali army officer of Pakistan again declared the independence of Bangladesh on behalf of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman from a temporary radio station situated at Kalurghat in Chattogram and this declaration reached to the people of Bangladesh through radio. Then the counter attack from Bengalis started.
And in this video you said that Pakistan Army was able to stop the rebellion. Is it a joke? Pakistan army were losing almost each and every battle with Mukti Bahini since rainy season. Because the bridges were damages by bombs, navy could not enter inside the country and Pakistani soldiers were not the greatest swimmers. Where Bangladesh is a land of rivers and Mukti Bahini used the full advantage of this. In October 1971, a ship full of tanks arrived at the port and was shifted to the Sylhet Cantonment by the Pakistan Army, but Hero of Bengal, Quader Siddique from no where seized those tanks in the midway. In December Pakistan army lost control over the country except Dhaka. Pakistan army had only 93000 soldiers left then, and 50000 of them were protecting only Dhaka. So, you can see already most of the lands of Bangladesh were conquered by Muktu Bahini then. Losing the war was only a matter of time for Pakistan then. But they from nowhere attacked India in December. Then Indian Army joined with Mukti Bahini forced the soldiers of Pakistan to surrender and it was 16 December 1971 when the people of Bangladesh got their freedom from the enemy who killed our people for no reason, raped our women only to fulfill their physical need.

@mccolock maq Stranded Pakistanis are called 'Biharis' by general people here. Biharis can take education, medical consultancy, work opportunity if they are eligible. But irony of fate, most of them do not want to be educated and improve their condition. I live in Dhaka and often have to pass by the Bihari Camp situated at Mohammadpur in Dhaka. There I saw something very unusual. That place is well known for drugs. I don't know why, young Biharis often engage themselves in Drugs business, but surprisingly refuse to take education.
During liberation war Biharis helped Pakistan Army a lot. That's why after our victory, they were very frightened and started to feel unsecured(that's pretty natural you know). From then, they started to stay away from Bengalis and could not overcome their narrow mindset till now except very few. Biharis who gained education, are working according to their merit. And they are equally treated.
As far as I know, Biharis came to East Bengal to become Pakistani, not Bangladeshi. So, according to us they are Pakistani. I have no issue if we exchange our Pakistanis, with your Bengalis. But government of both countries can only say what will happen in future.

Army was sent to stabilise the situation. My uncle as a lieutenant Colonel stood protecting the streets and the Dhaka girls college. hello i m from bangladesh and i would strongly object a few things said in this video. 1st of all the idea of bangladesh as a nation 1st came to light in 1952 when we realized not only west pakistan will treat us like the british has but also they wont even let us speak or officially use bangla as a language. The bloody election we won , we saw it as a chance to equalize the difference between two parts. 2nd mukti bahini was fomed months after march 71..on march night when pak army attacked innocent unarmed bangladeshi people , there were no mukti bahinis , we had barely any benglai in the army and the pak army attacked police barrack that night since they were the only bengali in entire east pakistan that could shoot back . 3rd which type of nation sends its army loose on its own citizens in the cover of night while they were sleeping ? let me remind 2 unforgivable things u did in those nine months and take my word that we can never forgive pakistan for these 2 crimes . A) raping millions of bengali (muslim and hindu alike)women based on the theory "we (pak army) will put so many childs in their women that they will no longer remain bengali as their ethnicity will be changed. ( and these guys calls themselves muslims?) and B) during the end of the war when pak army realized they were losing, they dragged all our intellectuals... university teachers , architects , poets, engineers from their homes , people who remained neutral in the war , tied their hands , covered their eyes , put them in lines and just shot them . we have mass graves of this act all over our country (u can google and find out urselves) . Why the hell r u guys giving a biased and conveniently abridged version of history which downplays then Pakistan army's and government's atrocities. West Pakistan from day one discriminated Bangladesh (east pak) and were not able to fathom the fact that a Bangladesh based political party can come into power to govern all of Pakistan, where as political parties based from other provinces like Punjab can. That example alone is proof that then Pak governance were racially prejudiced against Bangladesh and it's people. Government of Pakistan also misinformed and propagated a version of this bloody genocide to its population where they hid the actual scenario in Bangladesh and instead made it look like a blatant act of mutiny backed by Indian government. It was not India that defeated Pakistan and made Bangladesh an independent state. No, this was inevitable because of the series of actions then West Pak had taken. People of Bangladesh couldn't take it anymore especially after the 25 March Operation Searchlight where innocent civilians were brutally annihilated. Thus, Bd declared it's Independence and fought for it for 9 months. During those nine months many countries acknowledged the newly created independent state and many did not. Later on from some help from India and Russia and other friends Bd finally won the war and legitimized it's already claimed independent status. There ws no bravery or valor in the way Pak army acted in Bd during the war. In the end, I don't mean to bash Pakistan nor do I dislike the country and it's people. Doing that will not make me any different from those army members who killed and raped my countrymen/women. Reason for this long comment is to properly inform everyone watching this clip. Remember be patriotic but don't cloud your judgement and be oblivious to your country's governance's misdeeds because of extreme case of foolish nationalism.
