i bet it didnt fix it my s95 keeps restarting at random times for almost a year tried everything nothing works and i mean everything i know tech i believe its a faulty power supply that cant handle max lumen output as its so random on 4k hdr movies and some shows its happening to others ofcourse samsung is saying update with usb cause thats beta software there using to nerf things but not fixing the problem unless its software related but then again why not release it to everyone on there tv not computer to usb to tv
The firmware update in this video did solve the issue with the Samsung QN65S90CDFXZA TV screen saver coming on. I have not experienced the TV randomly coming on. The old Samsung would switch on after a power loss, but adding a UPS solved the issue. Sorry to hear you are still having issues with the S95.
Omg the damn pop ups that youtube throws around now is ridiculous. On this video its literally every 10secs either a damn card is poping up or a frecking product ad.
Make sure remote battery is charged and try holding power button until TV turns off and back on. If you can't do that try unplug TV from outlet for about 30 seconds. If you have the SmartThings app you can control TV from the remote interface.
My TV auto updated to 1430 and all the font has changed I hate it I had it switched off auto update as well now I've disconnected it from the internet how stupid and I don't even know what other things they've done in this update
It looks like 1430 provided for Optimizing the Smart Hub, Fixed audio dropouts when changing sound mode, Optimization of behavior (sound) during cold start by external CEC device, and Bluetooth sound issue fixed. The firmware updates can be for security update, bug fixes, and feature enhancements. By disconnecting from internet you loose all the smart features you paid for. Perhaps a non-smart TV is a better choice although choices are few.
@@cfldriven thanks mate I use an Amazon fire TV cube 3rd gen tho so I don't need any of the features to be honest I'm hoping they don't nerf the picture quality one day like they did with their other TV. Whereabouts do you find the firmware update information I did look but I can't find it on the Samsung website cheers
As of 2/28/24 in the US the latest firmware on Samsung's site for the S90C OLED 4K Smart TV (2023) QN83S90CAF is Version 1319.3 This version number may be different for various other Samsung TVs.
It seems to fix the looping screen saver issue. Unfortunately Samsung doesn't state what the upgrade fixes or adds. Just looked and there is a new 1402.5 version avail for this model in US.

@@jemsd83Funny thing is Samsung is good about describing the benefits to their firmware updates when it comes to cellphones and refrigerators but not with their TVs. Lack of notification about avail updates is frustrating for such an expensive set.

Update should should go direct to tv and not by usb😡

But now last ver is 1410
