  • In this video I show a more detailed assembly of the woodworker model of the ONEFINITY cnc machine. This video does not do this machine justice, it is very sturdy and looks promising! however time will tell how well this machine is built!....

      The shapeoko is a great machine, I wish I had of made videos when I had it. The nicest thing is not having to mess with belts and v wheels with onefinity! I appreciate you watching.

      Jaycee, thank you for watching! I have the standard 7”, at that time only one size was available. I’d say go for the bigger one, it will make it easier to read the text on the screen for sure.

      I won’t lie, so the phone I had the footage on took a dive with me in a lazy river and didn’t survive! I’m due for a new waste board. Hopefully I’ll have something soon.

    That process gets you a parallelogram that may be square. You need to check your diagonal measurements to verify.
    Engrave a shallow square or just 4 corners and check that. I've seen numerous forum posts on out of square. I know it's not in the onefinity instructions, but you can hope for square or make it square. They went for "hope" I guess.
    Don't believe me? Before you put screws in the far end move the feet left and right. Is it square???

      I have not bought a machine yet but really appreciate your attention to detail and sharing that advice.

    • @Berg085
      @Berg085 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't own one of these, but I've been considering. It seems to be it'd be better to fully attach one of the Y rails to your surface, pull the X rail forward to attach one corner of the other Y rail, then move the X all the way back to square it. Instead of having a single point on one corner that could, like you said, lead to a more parallelogram shape.

    Would you happen to know if their Controller can also control a typical Chinese VFD for a Spindle? ( setting its speed via *Sxxxxx M3/M4* and turning it on/off via *M8/M9* )

    • @74CreativeDesigns

      Yes, I would check out Ben Meyers video on it. I believe as long as it’s a 60mm spindle you’re good to go.

    • @74CreativeDesigns
