これが自然だと頭では分かっていても、雛鳥が捕食者に襲われた後、もう居ない雛の為に餌を持ち帰った親鳥が雛を探し呼んでいる姿はやはり切なく感じる😢

The chicks were looking weak, barely asking for food... the predator did the mother a favor because she would dispose of them eventually.

このくらいの雛は食べる時以外は寝ていて、食べ終わるとまたすぐに寝て糞をしたりするものですし、親鳥が餌を持ってきてくれた時には普通によく食べていたと思います。
