    Showing the Splitman Multitool. This is a very popular multitool overseas but only recently came to the USA. It is a very capable budget multitool, especially to leave in a vehicle or spare kit. Check out the text box for the listings of this multitool as well as my firesteel and other items of interest, enjoy! :D

    great review as always, thanks ! dare i say this looks very similar to my WeTols (build style wise etc) 21 tool multi (without scissors), which is also fairly robust, and was only $ 18 on Amazon last year when purchased (imagining one or 2 mega huge factories in some highly toxic area in china pumping these multitools out by the tens of thousands) have a great weekend all !

      The Wetols is a great value, Mossy Oak has picked up that model or a few thousand of them at least, lately :]

    I have one of those and quality, design and build are super close to the Nextool multitools. It is very well built and worth the money for sure.

    Got my second XinTong. The Scissors wasn’t locking and the spring wasn’t working but this time I heated the pivots and then adjusted them and then I loosen the pivot for the blade. Now everything is smooth.

      @WeAllJuggleKnives  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm glad it all worked out! Yeah with tools like this they often do require a little end user tinkering.

    Good video my friend. Looks good for the price. The scissors look awesome on this multi tool looks as good as the scissors on the Leatherman Surge. Just wondering how long is the warranty on it. Just wish the wire cutters were better. Anyway my friend good video. Keep up the good work 😀👍👌!!

    My knife an HRC78K ($22) from Aliexpress has a crosshatch (Double cut) pattern on the file tool with a plain (Single file) pattern on the bottom edge. On the other side of the file tool is a ruler with 2 inch and 7 cm length marks.

    Great review, as always. Ty. I got the new Surge a couple of years ago, couldn't find an older model. I miss the mini-driver on the new Surge. Had to go find a Blast for the mini-driver. Seems mini-drivers are out-of multi-tool style, right?

    • @WeAllJuggleKnives
      @WeAllJuggleKnives  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My Wave has a mini driver, but that's the only full size MT I can think of that has it. I do remember Gerber made fun of Leatherman's mini driver in one of their Center-Drive commercials. I wear glasses, so I've always used the mini driver, despite Gerber's ridicule LOL.

    Hey, thanks for this review, and all your others as well. Question for you: how do you think this compares with the Gerber Suspension-NXT?

    • @WeAllJuggleKnives
      @WeAllJuggleKnives  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I like my NXT, but this is better because the scissors are a lot better and the tools are longer and the handles don't flare out at the end like the NXT. The NXT and the Truss are good when on sale at real stores, but anyone with access to Amazon should go with this instead.

    when i see the main parts of the tools (one hand opening blade, replaceable cutters etc..) all i can think of is a budget friendly version of a leatherman

    • @WeAllJuggleKnives

      It's a very decent back up, or something to use while saving for something more expensive.

    Hi, Bercol claims that badboy is one of the thinnest full scale Multi's in the business at .5 inches thick.
    In your review it doesn't look any different than a .8 inch thick multi unless I'm seeing it wrong. Thanks

    What multitool would you say is better, this or ganzo g302b?

    • @WeAllJuggleKnives
      @WeAllJuggleKnives  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say the Splitman, because of the greater length of the tools.

    Please test cutting thin stranded wires as well. Romex and soft wire are easy, but 18ga copper stranded is a lot harder.

    • @WeAllJuggleKnives

      I will definitely pick up some 18ga to add to the testing gauntlet!

    How can you light only shavings without any tinder? You used something like kerosene? Is this some ancient are of starting fire without tinder?
    Also, nice to see another multitool video :)

    • @WeAllJuggleKnives
      @WeAllJuggleKnives  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad you like it! Just need big sparks for those shavings, try the bigger firesteels, much easier to get leverage and a longer spark-producing stroke.

    Thanks for the review. I just grabbed one of these with a Cyber Monday discount using the top link. I was also wondering which plier-based multitool: (1) is the heaviest; (2) has the most tools; and (3) is the all-time best seller?

    • @pruthvirajbhople
      @pruthvirajbhople 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      1) workpro heavy duty
      2) Leatherman surge
      3) Leatherman wave
      If you are after the best multitool for everything and don't mind size and weight, go for surge
      If you want something little smaller than surge, go for charge+

    Not surprised good tools can be produced at a fraction of cost of the big known brands. Simply goes to show how +$100 multitools are ripping you off.
    And they justify, its R&D, its quality, its fit and finish, its the materials. I think all of that are bullshit. Its more like marketing and how much they think you are willing to pay for a supposedly premium tool.

    • @WeAllJuggleKnives
      @WeAllJuggleKnives  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I definitely agree. US companies always act like the money is being passed on to their workers, but I think most of the profit is going to the guys at the top and the workers getting the minimum.
