As a former Tin Can Bosun I must admit that seeing the material condition of Salem made my eyes bleed with running rust. Hopefully they can get her back into some kind of decent shape !
We don’t have anything saved here unfortunately no battleship we’re ever set aside or old aircraft carriers I’m sure people would have visited them…imagine the cost is limiting factor and true cost is the scrap value for the steel 😢
