This what makes your channel the most interesting. It not about the sailing, it’s about the adventures of sailing. Keep safe and may the winds be kind to you.
Love changin' it up a bit with a new crew member - dynamics always make it just a bit more interesting and as always, a beneficial learning experience. Cheers!
Wow!!!!! That was one awesome trip! Justin still looks like he’s just getting acclimated! I can’t imagine being in the mindset to join a group of strangers on such a small vessel - such tight quarters, and being vlogged every day..... THAT is an adventure in itself! Kudos Dan The cave..... Now in my day I’ve done some challenging activities.... I used to do bungee jumping, skydiving, river rafting, parenting.... I had thought I’d do a bat cave...... but I’m re-thinking that idea!... lol!! Not knowing what’s at my feet in murky water is quite the phobia for me; the water got soooo deep! Although the guide seemed really awesome! That certainly helped..... except when he “disappeared”. Excellent presentation - great editing!! It really was an adventure here at home.... in fact, the entire Panamanian trip has been an almost visceral experience! Thanks so much Wynns!!!! Lauri
I really liked the bat cave. You guys are courageous. I would not want to be there but I appreciate being able to see it. And I admire your athleticism, everyone's.
That is soooo kewl that Dan works hard for 10-11 years and its his first vacation in a long time....Dan gets a chance to live the cruising lifestyle...
Thanks guys. All the spiders looked poisionous. The guide is an old hand and had a lot of fun. We had bats at a tire plant. They would fly out and grab bugs attracted to the parking lot lights. Pretty harmless, but I wouldn't mess with cave full. Welcome to the crew Dan.
You run a tight ship ... very ship shape. The bat cave tour was phenomenal; another once-in-a-lifetime experience. Good thing you had a fun tour guide. The $25 fee looks like it will feed his family for a whole month, if not longer. Maybe consider bringing some dry bags with you on your excursions so that you don't have to leave important stuff behind, like at the grotto. Thanks for sharing and continued safe travels.
OMG! What an adventure. All of the creepy things wrapped up in one moist, slimy, claustrophobia inducing cave. Now I can take that off the bucket list. Thanks for taking such great video.
Great fun to watch your adventure. In Chicago with the first signs of winter, envious of your tropical world. Keep up the good work in your around the world travels.
Well done guys. All of the crew exhibited great courage in the bat cave. Nikki lived up to her childhood hero “Pippi Longstocking” and Java-Jason managed to not squeal like a girl when the bats flew by. You are looking like real adventurers not afraid to see the world.👍😁
Yup, that had to be the nastiest water known to mankind! Hope none of you come down with some sort of creeping crud from those caves. That would be the very last adventure I personally would have taken....HATE the spiders and things that go bump in the night! How cool to have another crew member join in the fun!
Always make sure the gasket from the old filter is gone before you put the new filter on. If the gaskets get doubled it will leak bad. Yes, I've done it and had a bilge full of oil.
What a awesome adventure! Who would think, "today I'm going to do cannonballs in a cave.."! Your videos of this whole adventure from the beginning has been amazing, making me think it's time to sell the old homestead and buy a boat.....a big one! Even though the wife gets seasick easily, she would love to see all these amazing sights....so it would be worth it. Hello to the new crew member, you will never forget this vacation! So jealous, wish I could be there.....keep up the great work, say hello to the folks from the great white North for me. You all make my Sunday evenings, look forward to the latest video. Thanks for including everyone who can't live this lifestyle, have a sundowner and watch you guys next week!
Steveo! I certainly didn't expect to see YOU hanging around this channel! I'm not surprised, but I was pleasantly surprised. You need to take a vacation from 851TB and do a couple of weeks worth of crew work in Jason and Nikki! :-)
i know Im asking randomly but does anyone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost my password. I love any tricks you can give me!
Suggestion enhancement: Open the Zip bag and fold the zip edge out down the side a couple of inches. Then when you grab the messy thing you have good odds of keeping the zip closure clean, or cleaner, and then you can immediately zip it closed.
Hi everyone always enjoy the episodes. Good move to get out of the cyclone area. Hope kiwi Dave did a good repair on the support can only assume he is from New Zealand. Hope you resolve the computer issue without too much grief Cheers from down under.
There is NOOOOOO WAAAAAAY that I could’ve gone in there, but it was heart-pounding, squeamish FUN having THAT vicarious experience with all of you!!! YOWZA!
Welcome Dan :) FYI - I was creeped out from the time you entered the cave until you came out! WAY too many crrepy-crawlys, bats fine.. guano/spiders no thanks lol. Great episode guys, Cheers from PEI Canada, Bryan.
Since you are going on down the canal and onto the Pacific, when you get to Tonga there are 2 caves to explore. One you can get to by small boat and the other you must swim into. I will enjoy seeing you there.
You took non-waterproof equipment in there? Man, you're a lot braver than I am. All I need is a light drizzle and my cameras go down for the count. Glad yours held up. Love the bats and the creepy-crawlies in the cave, that's my kind of adventure! Great vid!
WOW!!! I've seen a lot of adventure videos, and I'm in the middle of watching all of yours right now (this is 102) but I've got to say, and I've never said it before, I hope you tipped this guy. Awesome private native guides like him make you wonder why anyone would go through a far more expensive tour company using the same guides.
Very cool - I feel like I am in a Natural Studies class (but enjoyable). I love the part where the guide left you and thought to myself - Is this not how all horror films start? Great content
Y'all are brave to say the least. I can do bats but spiders... NOPE! Wait Dave is 6'-5"? Good grief. What a great guide y'all had. Seems like people are really nice and always willing to help. Well, Safe travels. Oh... 🎉WELCOME DAVE🎉 ☺
Think you guys just found the cave of my nightmares! Spiders Check! Bats Check! The only thing missing from my fear trifecta would be venomous snakes....but I am pretty convinced that they were close by....
That was great 👍🏼. Jumping off of mini cave cliffs with bats, spiders, and the love of your life. Well except for the new guy, lol.... can't get much better than that
I was envious until I saw the huge spiders. I don't care that they have a "cute" name like cricket spiders. Thanks for continuing to post your quality videos. I'm always excited when I see a new video from you guys.
Another fab video. Seriously brave ladies. I would have freaked out. Kudos Jason for leaving the branch bump in the video for us. It was like 3D action. Felt like we were really there. Oh and welcome aboard newbie. 😁
This was very interesting, and the batcave was quite proper for the recent Halloween holyday, since one has to overcome a multitude of commonly held phobias, to go through that cave, let alone bathing in that pool. Still, as an adventure it was one-of-a-kind, and a genuine test of course. In addition, thanks for the video. If you didn't record it, most viewers would've never experienced such a thing.
As much as I enjoyed your excursion to Boquete, I am a salty sea dog at heart, so it's great to see you back on the boat. That said, wherever you guys go, I shall surely enjoy watching! Nice to see another mate joining (someone else to work for Nikki?) and I hope that he does enjoy his adventure with the rest of you - a well deserved 'break' (if you can call sailing a break!) It would appear that your website has failed for me once again so I am left in the dark as to where you are headed next. Perhaps you could let me know? And while I don't expect it soon, when you do decide to travel the canal, don't hesitate to ask any questions or for any tips - I've done it quite a few times now and I think I've got the jist of it! Finally, I'm afraid that I will be missing any videos you post in the next 4 weeks or so, as my boat and I will be forced off-grid due to our efforts here in the Caribbean. I am pleased to say that things are starting to improve here, and we are definitely making a real difference. So let me know where you are headed, and see you in about a months time!
Welcome new Crew Member!! Another terrifying and exciting adventure!! All those bats, spiders and More!! Plus walking through all that water.... Bet you did a lot of homework about the cave before going inside it!!!!! But still , nothing compares to actually going in. (Wonder what the Texan thought??) Thank you for sharing!!!!!!!
Great video. Congrats on the new crew member. I bet it's nice to be back on Curiosity. (Even with all the chores) How much longer will Dale and Justin be with you? They bring a lot of fun to your adventures. I know they're glad to be learning the ropes (bad pun) from you and Jason. Take care, be safe and have fun. - Michael (Your Irving Texas follower)
good morning , you just posted noon Calgary time , was just about to go out and shovel the walk ( you know ...snow ...cold ... Not tropical sunshine and beaches etc ) ...what should I do ... Well the dogs are waiting and whinning to go out so I guess I'll just have to do the walk first , but then a coffee and sit and enjoy your post .
Wow , that was different, not exactly like touring a coffee plantation . I guess with " Spooky " cave , " Bats " , and " Spiders " ...This would be your Halloween video , all that cave needed was Vincent Price . And a new crew member , Welcome Dan N&J , take advantage of Dan when he's aboard and have him reach up put new bulbs in your mast lights :-) Sorry Dan , couldn't resist , somebody had to get it out of the way . Power to ya all ( Texian english ) for that cave , certainly alot of people wouldn't venture in there , let along go swimming . Niki , if you were going for the least amount of splash on a cannon ball , the judges would all be holding " 10's " up .:-) :-) :-) Much enjoyed , Keep em coming Bob from Calgary

Love changin' it up a bit with a new crew member - dynamics always make it just a bit more interesting and as always, a beneficial learning experience. Cheers!
OMG. I really admire your bravery on this one.
I guess that living the dream is not all fun and games. But then again, Jason's super-smile shows that even changing the oil can be fun.
Wow!!!!! That was one awesome trip! Justin still looks like he’s just getting acclimated! I can’t imagine being in the mindset to join a group of strangers on such a small vessel - such tight quarters, and being vlogged every day..... THAT is an adventure in itself! Kudos Dan

Brave Souls you are! I am glad that I could watch it on video. Keep having fun.

Love Dan's statement. "Looked like you knew what you were doing."

Best. Guide. EVER! And new crew member seems fun as well.
Seriously brave, that was like five phobias rolled into one. Love the adventures!
It surprises me that you guys only have 154K subscribers. great video, as always.
OMG! What an adventure. All of the creepy things wrapped up in one moist, slimy, claustrophobia inducing cave. Now I can take that off the bucket list. Thanks for taking such great video.
Gotta love those "required" PFDs on the water taxi. Very stylish fabric with the low-vis pastel camouflage scheme...
Great fun to watch your adventure. In Chicago with the first signs of winter, envious of your tropical world. Keep up the good work in your around the world travels.

You guys are brave, thumbs up to you all!
OK that river ride up there to the Batcave is the freaking most awesome thing I’ve ever seen. Thanks for sharing
Great day. Thanks
That water couldn't have smelled too well. Very interesting video. Thanks guys...
Yup, that had to be the nastiest water known to mankind! Hope none of you come down with some sort of creeping crud from those caves. That would be the very last adventure I personally would have taken....HATE the spiders and things that go bump in the night! How cool to have another crew member join in the fun!
Nope nope nope.. I would not be walking through that water! Too freaky! Thanks for another amazing video!
Awesome video!!!! This was more like watching National Geographic! Your guide deserved a tip. Hi to your new crew member.
Always make sure the gasket from the old filter is gone before you put the new filter on. If the gaskets get doubled it will leak bad. Yes, I've done it and had a bilge full of oil.
What a cool freaking place! That's off the beatin path. One of the best vids so far. Great crew and welcome to the newbie. Loved it.
Looks like Fernando had a blast too! A little Halloween fun.
Just WOW! So Dan got the smallest bunk, right? Haha! Welcome to the fun Dan!
You are most adventurous and your videos are excellent.

steveo1kinevo Ugh. Not me. I skipped through the entire bat cave. I’d rather stay on the boat, 24/7. I love the ocean, love boating.
Steveo! I certainly didn't expect to see YOU hanging around this channel! I'm not surprised, but I was pleasantly surprised.
You need to take a vacation from 851TB and do a couple of weeks worth of crew work in Jason and Nikki! :-)

There is NOOOOOO WAAAAAAY that I could’ve gone in there, but it was heart-pounding, squeamish FUN having THAT vicarious experience with all of you!!! YOWZA!
Something about having a guide made us feel a little more invincible...which in hindsight seems ludacris :)
That ticks all the fear boxes-small dark place, bats, spiders! But looks like you all had a great time. Thanks for another excellent video.
That was fun! I hope you tipped that guy
This made up for the boring coffee episode. Love following you guys on your adventures, keep up the great work. Thanks for sharing.
Well, Caves and Bat's are not one of my things since Nam. so this freaked me out ... a little. Fun..
Fantastic cave experience. Wow
So, now Curiosity has her very own basketball team. And Dan can play center!!!
Great video guys!!!

Baggie for oil change. Brilliant. Why didn’t I think of that as I dropped oil all over my boat? 😁
Epic Adventure Guys !! Well done !! Kisses from Vancouver !!
Hi All, One of your best adventures ever!!!! Really enjoyed that!
That is the first one that I don't think I'd do... BUT.. it was very cool to see you guys do it haha.
Oh my! You guys must have trudged through so much guano! How fun and adventurous!
so glad I saw your zip lock baggy oil filter idea, that will stick with me forever when I get my Cat in the water. Cheers Guys.
That was great 👍🏼. Jumping off of mini cave cliffs with bats, spiders, and the love of your life. Well except for the new guy, lol.... can't get much better than that

DAN. THE MAN!!!!!
Good to see a fellow Austinite on board!
Great adventure vlog, loved this one guys.
You couldn't pay me to go more than 10' into that cave. I made a deal with bats a long time ago. If they will leave me alone, I'll leave them alone.
Awesome cave, so much fun to watch you.
That was probably the coolest video yet guys so awesome you guys ever think of going back to the RV life?
Another awesome vid -- the cave adventure so amazing!
Great video! I really liked the caves Your videos really make me want to go to Central America once we finish sailing the Caribbean

I love caves and Fernando was totally cool. I hope you gave him a tip. One of best vids
We see so many strange things... When you put the life jackets on, at first, I thought it was pieces of meat. I was a little surprised, though !
That is some sweet engine access!

Awesome, as always.
Very cool bat cave
That cave looks so scary I would totally freak out with all those spiders everywhere omg. The bats looked adorable though!
