So happy to see y’all loving Caddicarus. I remember binging his older right up until his N. Sane Trilogy video with SomecallmeJohnny (wouldn’t mind some reacts for him. He’s great.), then I stopped. Then, about probably 2 years, watched one of his newer styled vids and fell in love again. If anybody wants to, I recommend his Caddy Plays highlights, equally funny with a chill vibe.

Hearing Caddy groan in pain when bringing up the time trial races in Nitro Cart reminded me...for the next Caddy video you guys check out, I can't recommend his video on EVERY Crash Bandicoot Platinum Relic enough. The pain this man went through to make that video is CRAZY (dare I say...N. Sane)
It's funny how skylanders crashed and burned right when the quality was on an upswing simply because players were literally getting priced out with all the figures they had to buy.
I think it was a simple case of Activision putting way too many eggs in the NFC basket. Same thing with Disney Infinity and whatever Lego was doing (granted, I don't think the latter was that egregious). It seemed like Nintendo was the only one who were being a bit more smart about that trend. Sure, there were the shortages that were annoying, but at least they didn't over-produce their amiibos like Skylanders did with their figurines.
Yes they were on the right track but the story was bad, they nerfed characters from past games, it's delisted from the Xbox store, and they butchered the banooca

So Caddy basically had the entire world turn into bricks and he eventually married the bricks (as seen in this video). Then when quarantining started being lifted, the bricks left him (and stole his wallet) and showed up a couple other times before trying to get back together with Caddy. However, Caddy had already moved on (hooked up with a giant Lego brick), so the original bricks left for good… but also left behind the child they conceived with Caddy (basically a brick with eyes and a mouth). Anyways, that’s the general summary of the Brick lore.😅
Oh, I would LOVE to see how they respond to some of the raid or Lobby ShenaniganZ videos! Or even the Marvel vs Capcom video or Sonic videos (although the Sonic ones are LOOOOONG)!
1:01:27 Funnily enough, Mario would end up pulling off taking control of enemies to use in combat, and exploration much better in Odyssey. It's twice now that Mario ended up perfecting something originally done in Crash. The other thing being the anti-gravity sections in Nitro Cart used in Mario Kart 8.

Skylanders was a pretty interesting idea, I could argue that it could've been used a promotional vehicle for a new Crash & Spyro game, if the circumstances were available at the time.

Only thing about Cad's vid here that I disagree with is that he says Tag Team racing's music is boring Tiki Turbo is one of the best songs in the series
It's a shame, a lot of these games fell victim to be being rushed if you really think about it; Crash Twinsanity and Wrath of Cortex most notoriously, but then you do have the ones that were just churned out for money, hopefully Crash will no longer go to that era again

In CTTR Von Clutch's radioactive bomblets are even more OP than N. Gin's rockets. Upgraded to tier 3 it's a menace, it'll one shot on direct hits but also let you spread damage to multiple karts if you aim in between them and let the bomblets move outward. Tightly packed racers get decimated by that thing every time simply because they can't maneuver around them.

i actually got Skylanders on the Wii for Christmas when it first came out. and this is probably nostalgia talking, but i liked the whole figurine gimmick. was it a bit predatory? yeah, but it was still cool, the designs were interesting and the figurines were pretty high quality. again, nostalgia talking
Wrath of Cortex was the first and only Crash game i had as a kid and I love it even to this day, though I can admit it has a lot of problems (I DESPISE the submarine and monkey bar sections) Nice to know I'm not the only person in the world that thinks it's an at least decent game
wanna point out that jess harnell voiced crash in skylanders and also in the n sane trilogy. not my favorite crash voice, i still prefer it on the ps1, but he gave alot for a silent protagonist.

The skylanders game Caddy played wasn't a good one among the fans because of its lack luster and loot crate based gameplay, the first 5 are amazing and have good stories and quality, plus he played the level too early he needed to level up before diving right it while skylanders is a scummy marketing ploy I don't mind spyro's design and the game is still a hit among the people
All the trash talk in hearing from TagTeam Racing is Way too much because I 100% that game when I finally got a copy way back when and had a Freaking blast with it!
