Yes because this pvp mod isn't exactly perfect and completed. It still has bugs and glitches so don't expect it to be finished. All in all, the entire thing was fun

@@darklusare7582 i think since this is the first time they didn't want to set too many restrictions as no deaths would be very hard and the time limit would have to be very lenient but now they've tested it they can change the rules to make things more interesting
They haven't figured this out yet. I mean it probably doesn't even run properly so least be said about game mechanics the better. They will figure it out soon enough.

How about you change the concept a bit that the 4 people spawn in different locations of the map and all with the same equipment but u only have a certain amount of times you can die so it gets more fair and competitive?😅
Yeah that's going to work out, you either need to start with everything in the game, or you will be in Deepnest with almost nothing, hell, maybe even in the path of pain.

I've done this before, and it's a lot of fun! Another fun mode is to do an item randomizer, with everyone on the same seed. The runner gets a head start, but is also streaming so the hunters can see where he is at all times
I'm currently getting close to finishing the game for the first time and it's funny to see you guys get all the stuff that took me weeks in 38 minutes lol. In fairness I spaced out this game too to take up the world.
One thing I absolutely love about this series- there's so much opportunity for counterplay. Nail Arts and most spells aren't worth much in normal any% speedruns (though in runs like True Ending/Dream No More, they can be far more useful), as they usually require way more time to get than they'd save, but here they can actually be incredibly useful- level 2 spells can hit other players, for instance, and Nail Arts do *two masks* instead of one. And unlike a certain other kind of manhunt I can think of, the combat itself has so much depth as to make many of these options completely viable. As an example, instead of going Descending Dark, if fire avoided dying (and thus losing his geo) he could instead pick up the key in Crystal Peak and go for Shade Soul, speeding up normal fights AND giving him an extra tool against the other players, as an example. (Though, unless specifically going for Dream No More, it wouldn't be practical to go for Howling Wraiths > Abyss Shriek, as you're never going to have a reason to go to the Abyss in any%; it's just way too far out of the way.)
I know how long it would take, but with fireb0rn’s speed I reckon a 100 (maybe 112%) manhunt would be something I would watch to the very end and would love to see, please if this is possible in any way, shape or form, I would love to see it, keep up the excellent work!
I've honestly been interested to see hollow knight pvp, so this format seems like it would fit great with this game. Looking forward to a great video! Edit: Nothing to do with you guys playing the game, but it would be super cool if it was possible to have all the player's worlds line up correctly. Like, if barriers and bosses would be able to affect them equally. The logistics sound very complex, so I can understand why the mod makers went with the choices they did.

And unlike a certain other kind of manhunt I can think of, the combat itself has so much depth as to make many of these options completely viable.
As an example, instead of going Descending Dark, if fire avoided dying (and thus losing his geo) he could instead pick up the key in Crystal Peak and go for Shade Soul, speeding up normal fights AND giving him an extra tool against the other players, as an example. (Though, unless specifically going for Dream No More, it wouldn't be practical to go for Howling Wraiths > Abyss Shriek, as you're never going to have a reason to go to the Abyss in any%; it's just way too far out of the way.)

I know how long it would take, but with fireb0rn’s speed I reckon a 100 (maybe 112%) manhunt would be something I would watch to the very end and would love to see, please if this is possible in any way, shape or form, I would love to see it, keep up the excellent work!

I've honestly been interested to see hollow knight pvp, so this format seems like it would fit great with this game. Looking forward to a great video!
Edit: Nothing to do with you guys playing the game, but it would be super cool if it was possible to have all the player's worlds line up correctly. Like, if barriers and bosses would be able to affect them equally. The logistics sound very complex, so I can understand why the mod makers went with the choices they did.
