I feel bad for some of them. Zero financial discipline. All that money will be gone at some point, when they inevitably start to fade into obscurity. They could've set up a solid foundation for themselves instead of buying hundreds of thousands on high-end jewelry.

@@TheHamburgler123 i think buying this kind of jewelry is kinda like an investment, the diamonds and gold keep their value (kinda). it´s way more stupid to buy designer clothes or an expensive car.
But i think the most logical thing is if you grew up very poor you just wanna flex your money and buy stupid shit to display your ´wealth´.
@@ZEUSKINGCSGO I'm not so sure. A huge portion of the cost of these pieces are the fact that they're unique -- you're pay for that workmanship and expertise. From what I can glean from online, it's not uncommon for the famous jewelry designs to have margins of 200-300%+ on their peices. You're paying heavily for the prestige of owning a piece from one of the best and most famous/reputable jewelers in the game.
I agree with you that they will always have some value since they contain precious stones and metals, and that designer clothes and cars are likely an even worse investment. However, if you need to liquidate your jewelry, when push comes to shove, it appears you'd be lucky to get half of your money back on most of those items.
@@TheHamburgler123at least if the moneys gone they got hundreds of thousands in jewelry and other assets they can liquidate. They may look stupid but you are stupider if you think any of these dudes ever goin broke again.
