The foggy weather, indeed seems to replicate the charm of a cool wintry morning in the month of April, and coupled with the distant misty hills, it adds vibrance to the landscape beauty to soothe and rejuvenate a traveller after such a worn out overnight drive⚡❄ Wish I were there too!! 😊😊
At 23:49 never fill / check / top-up tyre pressure when the tires are warm .. If the air was less you should wait for the tires to cool down for a minimum 2 hours.. Air inside tyre will expand leading to a bumpy ride and high chances for a tyre burst even if its tubeless. Otherwise a well covered journey !! I drive to Goa twice a year and usually prefer taking the Chorla Ghat even though its a longer road yet better and same time required to reach Goa. Last year when we drove the stretch between Nipani to Ajara was horrible also from Vengurla Jn to Sawantwadi
Hi Ritesh, really value your inputs on tire pressure. After 12 hours of drive, it felt bumpy, may be due to the road condition. Same time, we did not get any air checking station since it was night. My gut was pressure is 40, and we had to cover around 50 KM more; hence this break but seems it was in control. Thanks for the complements. I love Chorla too since my college was nearby (Sanquelim), I used to visit there for sunrise. Even I took Chorla in March, while returning from Benaulim (South Goa). This time Ajara was a bit poor, but it has improved from where it was in Sept, 2021 (This was last time i took Amboli road).
Ritesh can you guide me.I’m driving down to south Goa from Mumbai day after.Which is the best route I can take for smooth roads since I’ve a hatchback.

Fantastic 🚗 drive. I am 78 & am from Margao. You should have seen Goa in the 50s. The ghats had so much of wild life. I remember night drives when rabbits got caught in our cars headlights. Today it's just concrete roads and climate change.
Wow, it is always lovely to hear experience from someone who has seen the real past !! We see changes happening in 7-8 years. But really previleged to hear your experience. Rabbits are dream, we don't have anything beyond cattles now.
