Dude I love how you don’t gloss over the suck that is involved in so many camping adventures. A lot of these camping TH-cam channels make it seem like fantasy land out there. As weird as it may sound, seeing you on the verge of misery is kind of inspiring and a great reminder that you gotta embrace that Type 2 Fun sometimes.
Quick tip for anyone stuck on the rain that can't heat up rocks to keep near them due to rain or snow, you can boil water and put it in a nalgene and throw it in the bottom of your sleeping bag. Kept me warm in a blizzard for 2 to 3 hours at a time just fine when Temps got below my sleeping bag rating. In ideal conditions, using rocks will hold heat better and keep you warmer for much longer, but probably best not to put em in your sleeping bag and jusy kind of hug em through a coat or something.
There's nothing better than going out into the woods alone, even on the crummy days. Lol Gives you perspective, gives you time to reflect, these are my favorite moments! This is my new favorite outdoor channel! 😊

Fantastic to see a wild camper wearing wellingtons around camp.
