Its weird that people like to flex how quickly they can do something over how good it actually is cause if any human decided to make like a house in a day you know its gonna turn out shit
Incorrect, IMO. Your statement only applies to artistic expressions. The car you ride in for hundreds of thousands of miles was built in a day. Building boats, houses, and/or anything in a manufacturing plant involves a manufacturing process of some kind. A process that any individual can follow regardless of creative ability so long as they have basic problem solving and math skills and are provided with the necessary tools. A process that individuals will repeat with sub-millimeter precision day in and day out for most of their time on whatever particular job they work. When I worked in the automotive industry, mass manufacturing parts for trucks, your crew worked at the pace of the machine or the machine would bury you in unfinished parts. A part will get rejected by QA down the line if it was poorly made, but they will *all* be poorly made if you're drowning in your work the whole day (especially since hot parts tend to cut better, and they cool off as they sit on the floor waiting for you to get to them.) Which means speed is just as, if not more, important than precision when manufacturing. I can spend ten minutes making one really good looking part. Or I can make 4 parts in ten minutes that just pass QA standards. Then, even if they reject half of my parts later on, I will have made far more *passable* parts in the same shift. (132 parts at $450 per part in an 11 hour work day vs 66 parts at $450 per part = $29,000 difference off of 1 machine during 1 shift) Art is a completely different beast. It's not impossible to create and follow a set of steps/guidelines when making art, but following steps alone doesn't generally make art (there are always exceptions to the rule, as we commonly see with AI generated art, so you know...never say never, or whatever.) But moreover, the price that people are willing to pay for art is just as subjective as art itself. The Mona Lisa isn't worth anything to man dying of thirst no matter how much he loves the work.

When it comes to coverups you need an artist that understands color theory and how images lay on the body. I have a cover up and it cost so much and took 3 sessions. Absolutely beautiful and now one of my favorite tattoos
Tangent - the "Bible hate tattoo" thing is usually referring to Leviticus 19:28, "You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the LORD." Tattoos were notably a common way to worship pagan gods, which is a big no-no. Leviticus is also in the Old Testament, which is kinda like saying Old Contract. There's a lot of theology that won't fit well into a TH-cam comment, but basically we couldn't keep up the Old one so Jesus came down and set up a New Contract (culminating in sacrificing himself on the cross). Large chunks of the New Testament explain that we are no longer under the Law, and it's usually Paul, the Law expert, who's telling us this. One example of many is Romans 6:14 - "Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace." Notably followed by 15-16, "Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living." Peter teaches in a similar vein in Acts 10:14-15, recounting a vision he had: "'No, Lord,' Peter declared. 'I have never eaten anything that our Jewish laws have declared impure and unclean.' But the voice spoke again: 'Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.'" In conclusion, yes, the Bible says no tattoos. But the Bible also says that we have new rules now. So tattoos are not necessarily forbidden, but they should never be prioritized over God, or worship something/someone other than God. Never hurts to prayerfully consider before committing to one, though. Do your own research and all that.

NEVER USE WHITE NOISE IN VIDEO. It f*cks majorly with video encoding destroying the quality instantaniously. Hell, 240p normal background looks better than 4K with white noise in the picture.
So it's not just my phone! I wasn't sure why my video quality looked like a potato during those moments or if I'd been failing to realize it's always been bad or something, lol. White noise is fine for a brief moment, especially with horror stuff, but definitely don't use it as a green screen sort of background. I did overall enjoy the video, though.
@@BewareTheLilyOfTheValley the issue with white noise is that videos are not transferred nirmally by giving you every single picture as a whole but by trying to only transmit changes. That's why white noise crushes it: everything has to be resend every frame.

@@HollyBNThat’s not true. If you use any halfway decent AI they are better at symmetrical things. What’s hard everything that isn’t symmetrical. If a pattern is just mirrored on the other side a good AI mirrors and copy pastes it.
For that Harry Potter tattoo I was like, eh it looks a little crude but it’s kinda cute, and then we both exclaimed at the horrific treatment of Dobby simultaneously😂
A TH-camr called TreacleTatts made 5 videos about this artist, if you’re interested to see more 😊 Good job on showing more of her work, I wasn’t ready for that amount of bad (and stolen) tattoos
Personally, I think the blame for the bad tattoos goes onto the clients for getting them. I think anyone who's foolish enough to pay 150 bucks for a tattoo that takes an hour or less without checking the stencil first with an artist who's portfolio is so easily accessible deserves exactly what they get. You get what you pay for. No one made them go to that lady for a tattoo. These aren't infants, these are grown adults making their own poor decisions and wasting their own money. There's no trickery here. Only stupidity.
I’d agree, they have seen her work and know what her skills or lack thereof are. I’m her case you’re getting what you paid for. And usually the cheaper it is the quality is bad.
As an artists who worked 10 months in a shop for an apprenticeship, I can positively say that Amazon and tiktok have absolutely fucking RUINED the craft.
This video serves as a reminder on why I will never get a tattoo in the first place, lol. I don't like the idea of putting something permanent on me. We also age, so that tattoo will eventually look saggy, wrinkled and ugly when we get older. And before you even get to that stage in life, you might regret the tattoo and now roll the dice on trying to have it covered up. Even removal isn't that great of an option because it doesn't completely remove the ink. Once you have that tattoo, your skin will never go back to the way it was before. There are companies that do really nice temporary tattoos if you're so inclined to try out having one.
I believe in the six month rule. Wear a representation of the tat for 6 months without changing anything major. I still have my dragon wings 20 years later and because we used simple bold lines and lots of sunscreen they still look vibrant and beautiful. It’s the planning that makes the tattoo. Lots and lots of planning.
The only reason a tattoo should br jumbled up and uneven. Is if someone is getting a childs drawing tattooed on them, like say thex want a tattoo of their daughters first art piece from her first day of school. Or for example a drawing Made by someone that the person wants. Or say the source magerial for the ttatoo is meant to be intentionally messed up or whatever. Otherwise theres no excuse if youre advertising yourself as a pro. If she was stating shes a novice, itd be more forgiveable
Hey, Jackson, love the content. One request, though. Could you not use static as a background? It ruins the quality. Thanks man, keep making great stuff. 👍
this is why when you go to get tattoos you always get a concept done first on paper then if your still unsure get a temporary one done on the spot to see if it fits and you like it
My gf tattooed my thigh with the first tattoo she ever made - it was a bit of a disaster, but original and meaningful design, and although healing was a nightmare and I yet to correct this, I love it.

2:17 wrooong, this is complicated but the TL:DR is "it's not prohibited". if we take Bible out of context and on face value a lot of think would be a sin Leviticus 19:27 “ ‘Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard."
wrooong, this is complicated but the TL:DR is "there are many ways to interpret the bible" and taking it at face value is one of them. The ultra orthodox Jews don't cut the hair on the side of their face ("peot") or trim their beards because that's how they interpret the scripture. There are many things that the old testament forbids that many Jews and Christians still do, including getting tattoos, shaving, not eating kosher or working on Saturdays (all of these are forbidden and *aren't out of context* ). Don't preach what is in or out of context in the bible, because shaving or cutting your "peot" *is* forbidden. You just choose whether to comply.
2:20 yes! It says not to make a mark on yourself in reference to how people would hurt themselves or others in occult rituals iirc. Many people interpret 'mark' as being literally any type of marking, whereas the original practices involved things like cutting and scarring to my knowledge. So things like henna, which is seen as beautiful in one or two poems in other portions of the Bible, are generally fine. Some people don't even see the word 'mark' as anything but a rule against hurting/scareing yourself.
I feel like customers need some kind of compensation when the tattoo turns out really bad. False advertising unless they have correctly shown what their art actually looks like.

Things I learned from this video: Jackson IS a tattoo artist and has NEVER seen ink master once in their life.
I don’t like tattoos, but I respect all art forms. She doesn’t even look like she feels the same -_-
It’s takes me over an hour to do a small acrylic painting, and that crap is quick drying.
This was literally the best tattoo I have ever seen. The rat was absolute perfection in its purest form😂
When it comes to coverups you need an artist that understands color theory and how images lay on the body. I have a cover up and it cost so much and took 3 sessions. Absolutely beautiful and now one of my favorite tattoos
16:18 “i’m gonna lie, this is great!” 😭😭😭😭 and the creator hearted it and everything 😭
You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living."
Peter teaches in a similar vein in Acts 10:14-15, recounting a vision he had: "'No, Lord,' Peter declared. 'I have never eaten anything that our Jewish laws have declared impure and unclean.' But the voice spoke again: 'Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.'"
In conclusion, yes, the Bible says no tattoos. But the Bible also says that we have new rules now. So tattoos are not necessarily forbidden, but they should never be prioritized over God, or worship something/someone other than God. Never hurts to prayerfully consider before committing to one, though. Do your own research and all that.
I was looking to see if anyone pointed this out
I love it when people actually read the Bible and spread the facts. Not enough people actually know what the Bible says nowadays.
Awesome.
Cool!
Absolutely impressive Bible knowledge
I typically pay £80/hr from good artists in the UK, so to me $160 for something that takes 60-90 mins is not cheap.

I wonder why Frank is letting his co-host speak more than him.
He's such a nice dude
Holy shi- the Chinese characters were so bad with that butterfly tattoo 💀💀💀
I got a free tattoo because the dude was in training. Luckily it’s on the side of my foot because it’s looking a little janky 😂🤣💀
See, THAT is when you get a cheap tattoo! Put it somewhere that's not super noticeable, so if it's bad, it's not instantly recognized. Don't let a novice (or someone with a dodgy reputation) anywhere near your back, arm or throat.
"I'm gonna lie, this is great" got hearted 💀💀💀💀💀💀16:23
Mabye my eyes are just broken but that plague doctor looks crazy good.
It's stolen art and the gears on it are wonky.
Agreed I clicked cuz I thought I'd get an explanation as to why it was bad
@@BewareTheLilyOfTheValleyyeah but wouldn't you want something bad looking in your thumbnail if you're talking about a bad artist?
@@dollzo It looks rlly good from afar, but once you look at the details….its bad lol. The gears are wonky and aren’t fully shaded in. She also didn’t even rlly cover up the og plague doctor
It's a bit strange, you can look at some of the best artwork you've ever seen just by people doing it via tattoos.
And when you see what a tattoo artist thinks of it, they will always see it as a crap.
It's weird
I have 3 coin sized tattoos and they took 15 mins each 😭 girl why did any of these take less than an hour
I love how she can't choose between realisim and lineart so she does both
NEVER USE WHITE NOISE IN VIDEO. It f*cks majorly with video encoding destroying the quality instantaniously. Hell, 240p normal background looks better than 4K with white noise in the picture.
F in the chat for the Bit Rate. Buddy got destroyed.
At first I thought this was an apprentice charging sane amounts, but no, this is a manipulative amoral person inflicting wonky horrors on the unsuspecting public. Wtf. 😰
When he said he had eyes in the intro, I about died from a heart attack. Not a lot of people have those these days.
It's so inspiring to hear someone admit to smth so secretive and personal.
I’m a tattoo artist and I can tell that you’re not a real professional tattoo artist if you call your machine “ a gun”
The way stuff doesn’t line up and isn’t symmetrical feel very AI 😂 almost like she typed ‘egyptian geometric horror’ into a generator and made the result into the stencil
Bad art isn't automatically AI
@@jstarstudios7110 yeah, as a bad artist, I know? But those specific faults are common problems with AI art
@@HollyBNThat’s not true. If you use any halfway decent AI they are better at symmetrical things. What’s hard everything that isn’t symmetrical. If a pattern is just mirrored on the other side a good AI mirrors and copy pastes it.
Cheap and fast is not what you want to hear at a tattoo shop

A TH-camr called TreacleTatts made 5 videos about this artist, if you’re interested to see more 😊
Good job on showing more of her work, I wasn’t ready for that amount of bad (and stolen) tattoos
12:58 bro u ca still see the old tattoo clear as goddamn day
9:13 i legitimately choked on my water lmao
forgot the damn elder wand in the symbol lmao.
Yes this. They know and still get it done. No pitty from me.

When you buy your tattoos off Wish
Everyone will look saggy, wrinkled and ugly regardless if they have a tattoo or not. That's just how aging works.

“I’m gonna lie, this looks great!” 😂😂😂
You did so many inkmaster skits that I used to think you were a tatoo artist
That sweet doggie staring at you cracks me up!!!! I dont know how you were able to get anything done with him staring at y9u the whole time!!!

Random share because I really feel for the words that "its only gonna get worse from here" and the anxiety is striking.

Time to go into philosophy mode: what truly makes a tattoo bad 🧐?
6:30 I should not be able to recognize someone just from their forehead…. I think I need to take a break from the internet….
2:17 wrooong, this is complicated but the TL:DR is "it's not prohibited".
if we take Bible out of context and on face value a lot of think would be a sin
Leviticus 19:27 “ ‘Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard."
wrooong, this is complicated but the TL:DR is "there are many ways to interpret the bible" and taking it at face value is one of them.
I rather pay extra and go to someone I trust. This seems like a nightmare.
You don't know what you've got until you've covered it up
I feel like customers need some kind of compensation when the tattoo turns out really bad. False advertising unless they have correctly shown what their art actually looks like.
We gotta see the tattoos
Personally, I think the plague doctor didn't look bad, but people tend to say I have bad taste so...
