Hello, first of all, you are so sweet, and for talking, I am the same way. Lol, but it's all good. I know this video was made awhile back, but sure hope you still making them. I enjoyed watching you so much. You made me smile. But this method, I tried, and I just can't do it! I just quit. But thank you for showing this method, and have a beautiful day!

Yeah for Kentucky ! I am a born and raised coal miners daughter. Raised in south eastern Kentucky, but now live in Florida. I have been making wreaths for ages. I will be 73 next month. Unfortunately I have been unable to do very many wreaths since health has slowed me down a lot . I loved watching you working on this wreath.

OMG Connie, I certainly can relate with everything you've been talking about. Crafted all my life. Supplies out the Yen Yang, all over my house. I have a saying that I framed after mother was on me one day about why do I keep buying stuff as much as I have and why do you need everything. "I am not a craft hoarder. I'm the curator of an extensive private craft supply collection." And I'm the same way shopping, I always can find a new tool I need. My sons told me he never knew a female who like to shop at Lowe's, Home Depot, Harbor Freight, anywhere!!! Loved the video also and especially the mesh you put together. Keep up with your videos. I thought you did a great job...

Oh how I wish you & I lived close to each other! My craft room upstairs is so full of supplies that I can’t even get to the work table! My adult kids are starting to call me a hoarder but it’s because they don’t really take much interest & it’s just more fun when you’ve got someone right there working alongside you and chatting away. My precious Hubby passed away almost 7 years ago. Due to my illness I’m unable to drive. I live alone with my 2 Toy Poodles in a 12 room house and a huge corner lot! (( giggles)) I’m the same way; I love to know I have everything in hand when I come up with ideas! I’m totally blind in my left eye & have had noticeable vision loss in my right eye. Seeing the Eye Specialist/Ophthalmologist a week from today. I admit I’m very afraid. Even though I’ll be 68 this August there are so many things I want to experience. If I need eye surgery I’ll need someone to stay with me for at least 2 days as I won’t be able to see anything the 1st 24-48 hours plus you have to be at the eye surgeons office the next morning. I’ve done a lot of praying. 😔
As you’ve been creating your beautiful wreath & talking... I’ve been watching & texting right along as if you were here with me! God bless you if you’ve taken the time to read all this! I have had my Bowdabra’s for about 16 years. The mini Bowdabra for about 8 years. I bought the mini to give my bows dimension plus I make them for my little Great Grand Grand Daughter’s & my little female Poodles! 😂 Have you ever used a glue pot? For hot flying certain things such as flowers I think it’s neater than the glue gun! I actually inherited a huge tote of various Seashells from my dear Father In Law! More than I’ll use in a lifetime although I’ve made simple pendants with matching earrings for my adult Grand Daughters! I love everything about this wreath, especially the tan mesh with the spots of the white. Are those spots actually raised? Well, I’ve talked/texted throughout your entire video! Feel free to ask me to be quiet! 🤗
Looking forward to watching more of the wreath video’s from the past & now that you know just about everything about me; I promise my future comments will be brief.

I've been looking for a tutorial for this method AND a beach theme, so this was perfect! You did a great job! I'm like you, a talker. I watch a lot of videos and like that you kept it quick and focused. I was going to watch another one, but she was unprepared, was on her laptop trying to set things up, then didn't have her glue gun on...and others spend too much time talking to everyone on there instead of focusing on the craft, which you did very well. I am now a subscriber. Good job!

I’d love to have this and add a lighthouse!! I’m going for a farmhouse bedroom and the colors I’m putting together is gray, white, and turquoise so with this kind of wreath for summer and seashells and lighthouses in my room would make the most beautiful farmhouse beach house bedroom look fabulous!! I couldn’t do this so I’m hoping to show this video to a friend and have them make it for me! Thanks for sharing your talent.. I enjoyed this!

The “zip tie gun”!!! I’m trying to locate 2 of them as I have MS/Multiple Sclerosis & I figure that will really be a huge help! The 2nd one is for my Daughter who is in the process of moving from 3 counties away from me to only a 20 minute ride away! Let us know how you like it. Since this is my 1st time on your channel & I see this video is about 3 months old I’m hoping you see my comment! When I looked online for the zip tie gun I found they sell them at Harbor Freight for only $6.99+tax. Hoping they carry them in store so I can get them right away. Great idea to put the roll of mesh in the basket! I hate it when it’s all over the floor; less rolling around; less fraying!

Your wreath is beautiful but I'm confused on how you make the ruffles.I really can't see how you pull it , twist it or turn it over, that's kind of hard to see when it's laying down flat .Maybe if you could do one where it's hanging on the wall , and you start the wreaths that way with those ruffles ,and then we can see how you make your ruffles, it would be a lot easier ,but you're wreath is beautiful. I do arts and crafts but, I'm just trying to get started again and I want to make a lot of wreaths. Thank you for being so patient and understanding, I enjoyed your video.

Great job and I love your method you used on this wreath. I missed the very beginning of your video. Didn’t hear where you got that gorgeous beige mesh and what is it called? Thank you so much! Madeleine

Sondra Headrick I would be glad to do a tutorial with a bow. We’re coming home from vacation as we speak, so if I can’t do it Friday, I’ll try to do it Monday. ❤️❤️. Keep checking my channel.

The anchor is absolutely gorgeous I would love to hang that on my door

    • @sweetteadesignsconniemcman7124

Brenda S, i think the anchor is cute enough to hand on the door. If you attach a ribbon (or rope/twine) through the hole at the top to hang it, then a bow at top of ribbon or twine, it would really be cute!

You are a very talented lady. Maybe you could tell me how to cut a 21" wide roll in half to make a wreath that requires a 10"mesh roll! Seems as if most wreath tutorials call for 10" rolls! I tried this one last night with 21" and I had trouble with it!

    • @sweetteadesignsconniemcman7124
      @sweetteadesignsconniemcman7124  6 ปีที่แล้ว

Louise Tucker, thank you for the compliment. I have tried cutting down the middle of the 21” roll without good results. You just have an extra side that ravels or frays. Some people spray the cut edges with spray adhesive or stiffener. I would advise buying 10” mesh for this type of ruffling. Sorry I couldn’t be of more assistance. 😞

Faye Pinkerton I’m glad you liked the tutorial. I only tie at the beginning and end of the mesh. You can use zip ties, pipe cleaners, wire or whatever you have handy.
Thanks for watching. I plan to do more of them soon! Have a good day!

It is an easel from Nancy Alexander at Ladybug Wreaths. It’s a very good easel. I’ve had it several years it was about $180 back then. Someone she knew made them.
