    This is far the best F2L video. It explains F2L a lot. I have seen like 15 F2L videos none of them go this In depth and slow for people just learning F2L. I love how you repeat things. So that if I don't get something you repeat It then I realize what you just did. Another thing I like about your video is you when't through all the situations that could happen. I would say watch the hole video if you wanna get good. If you skip through it you might not get faster. if you do good, good for you. I am just saying watch the whole video even though it is 40 mins long. Over all I am very happy with this video. My time was well spent watching the whole video. Thank you.

    This is the best F2L video tutorial that I've ever seen/heard. I understand everything. Even with this technique, I still ended up 1 minute+. Without F2L, I managed to do 45+ seconds. This technique requires a lot of practice and muscle memory which I'm not good at. But anyway, very nice tutorial vid.

    I started averaging 45 second with beginners method and found out about F2L a couple weeks ago and this is the best one because it has the kinks to go from case to case, highly recommend this. It also takes time so don't get mad. Also my pb is 30 seconds (so pretty bad). I had a hard time getting passed basic cases until this video.

  • @joegarcia2323

    I think I’ve watched almost every beginner F2L vid on TH-cam. This is by far the easiest to follow and understand. It’s incredibly simple when put this way. Other guys made it out to be like 5 cases (mirrors included) but these 3 cases is the best way to put it. And getting all the basic concepts, inserts and terminology out of the way in the beginning of the video was smart. Followed by 3 simple cases explained and reinforced multiple times really rounded this off for me. Also not doing crazy fast finger tricks was helpful too man. Thank you for this. For anyone learning this material still… Go through the video entirely for the first time, and then your understanding could possibly be to the point where you could go watch a second time on 2x speed just to confirm and double check some finer details.

    bro, thank you so much, i literally had spend months trying to understand f2l and was unable to, but i found your channel and now, it's probably the best thing that had ever happened to me for the last few months, I am planning on learning all sorts of rubik's cube starting from 2x2, 3x3 but always wondered why i didn't learn advanced methods of all the cubes, it's because there's no one to teach me or any youtube videos that were well explained. But this right here made me learn f2l within an hour, I'm really glad that i found your channel, it seems that you're quiet inactive here but if you're reading this, thank you, you're the best cubing tutor out there. Really appreciated it :D

    For those of you concerned about the 40 minute timestamp:
    1. This is an interactive tutorial. It's very repetitive but has plenty of navigation tools to skip around the video for those who want to get to the good parts
    2. As such, if you want to learn this quickly and be in and out, it will take 10-15 minutes tops :)
    3. The tutorial is deliberately slow since I got so many comments on previous tutorials that I was going too fast, so those who need it can take their time
    But F2L is definitely an investment so if you're not ready to put in the time, I apologize for making this one so long - I might make a crash course on it at a later time. But for now, thanks for stopping by and happy cubing!! :D

    • @TheSergsB
      @TheSergsB  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Creative projects for the Projectless Oh yeah that's a fair point. The problem is, because the 3 cases cover the Align and Insert steps at the same time, and the case explanations begin at 14:35, I had them both link there. Perhaps I should just remove the link on "Insert" so it's not as confusing..

      You'll eventually get faster with consistent practice.
      Try to recognise the cases faster (your recognition will automatically improve with practice). Basically, you need to differentiate between Case 1, 2 and 3 (as shown in the video) as quickly as possible and then intuitively build the necessary pairs.
      Keep practicing, and I'm sure you'll soon be better with F2L.

  • @harrylarge5644

    Im struggling to see how doing F2L intuitively is quicker than beginner method. With F2L like this you have to be constantly watching which side you lift up, especially when doing later pairings seems much quicker to just bash out the moves in beginner which are much simpler and easy to execute quickly, requires far less thinking, I can do 1 minute usual solves but doing f2l takes far longer. Im sure pros averaging 20-30 sec solves have taken the time to learn the individual algorithms for each of the cases rather than solving it like shown in any of f2l youtube vids.

    • @Aaron123791
      @Aaron123791 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      RacistFish Okay you must be doing it wrong. There are 2 things going wrong here. 1. You have to be doing F2l wrong or something. 2. Your lying about getting 39 seconds for your basic method solve. Because with I just learned F2l not even an hour ago and for my first timed solve ever I got 2 minutes and 7 seconds. And my Pb for basic method is 40 seconds. So you have to be either doing F2l wrong or your not understanding it completely or your lying about your times. Because that's just crazy with that big time gap you have..
